3DAvenue (http://www.3davenue.com/) has posted up their review today of Battlefield 2142, giving them game 4 out of 5 stars. Here's what they had to say:
This time around single player has been completely forgotten. Rather than have a sort of campaign where missions play out in a specific order, you just basically setup a server and play bots. This is probably not surprising considering the previous two titles, and the fact the game is so multiplayer focused it's not such a bad thing. The AI isn't exactly anything to write home about anyway and you will only use them to boost small servers rather than have a competitive game with them offline. They are useful for learning how to play the game however and they do use all the options available in the game.
