Thought i would start a thread about the best ways to get certian badges....

Chose a titan server, Pod around to the upper back dock of your titan, and go into the vents, place a demopack on the wall run to the other side of the hallway and as soon as someone drops down blow it up...keep doing this with a support guy nere you to resupply you, u will have the badge in no time...



Plz add onto this with some simple ways you know of getting more badges..

There are many ways to get the explosive gold badge. I personally got mine on Camp Gilb with the claymores but i probably average around 25 kills each titan game with explosives alone. Until the shields are dropped i generally go cap points a lay mines. If i have a decent commander i will actually take and hold a point or place between points, and usually rack up a ton of explosive kills. Then when the first titan shield drops, head to that titan and start throwing claymores places. IF you are attacking make sure to go back and defend when your shield lowers. Then just throw claymores near the back of the cargo bay and you are golden.

Supply badge is stupid easy...just defend a Titan console with a medic and a recon. They run out of ammo like whoa, and all you do is fill em back up with a crate on the ground.

Anyone know of a good map to get your expert knife badge on? I've tried it on Gibralter, but I can never break 15 knife kills (17 required).

Any advice?

I got mine last night on Cerbere Landing. It seems to be the best for knifing and I used Assault to heal my self.

Wow, nice job! Pretty crazy. What did you do, just run around randomly, or making a backdoor run?

For Knife, Pistol and Explosives MINSK is your best bet.

I advise a 64player server.

Join a "Fall of Berlin" 3-round server so it moves onto Minsk next game, and you get 3 full tries at this.

Play as EU.

Play as Recon, with RDX and Camo and Spawn Beacon.

Form a squad and get at LEAST 1 member (so you can use beacon, and help harass enemy)

Spawn at the North Eastern most position.

Run up the Northern ridge, through the punish zone - having enhanced sprint helps.

Normally after getting killed 2 or 3 times, you'll make it just past the PAC front line spawn point (An outcrop of rocks)

Find a neat hiding place just behind them to place beacon.

Sneak up on people and knife/pistol/RDX them to all annoyance.

You get LOADS of snipers there if the EU still holds all CP's; plus you can boobytrap with claymores instead of RDX if you like.

My best knife round was 25 knife kills in that round.

I *try* not to totally spawn kill, unless im trying to escape and have my carbine out - then any PAC mutha gets taken out. It;s much more fun laying an RDX in the midst of 3 snipers then blowing them to hell :D

Armored service ribbon: 20 mins, 20 kills

Conquest is not the preferable option for this, because usually people want to take the tank/walker thus creating a "get in the line" phenomenon. And usually Conquest rounds are short. You get 20 kills easily though in Conquest using tanks/walker but lack the time.

So, take a titan map with preferably more than 32 players. The more players on the server the better the chances of total titan defense block thus making rounds to be decided by holding silos thus breaking the 20 mins limit. If you have less than 32 players titan consoles/cores can be destroyed more easily. I do not recommend full 48 server because usually tanks are taken then. And if you have more closer 32 then the problem is usually finding the victims. Tips to be tank driver. Don't get too close and use the zoom. Also switch to gunner seat if you meet some guy jogging through the wilderness to finish him off.

If using hover tank don't let the enemy tank to come close to ram you. He can move the turret while you are being pushed around.

Goes with out saying that repair tool 2.0 is your very best friend.


Aircraft service ribbon: 20 kills, 10 mins

the same reasoning as above goes to server choice & size. Full 48 --> too many people on AA. Best way to rack up kills as a pilot is to shoot down the enemy gunship. Transports are a bit more harder to kill. Don't stay on one spot. Check your six (amazing amounts of pilots don't do this), usually enemy gunships come to try nail your titan guns. Prey on them. Gunship do spaw kind of slowly, so try to keep flying to get 10 mins. Also kills of ground targets are hard to come by. This ribbon is not exactly a point machine, but those who are interested in getting it in to their portfolio should try this rather sooner than later, because people are learning the ropes all the more.

I just wish the EA would come out and clarify all the reqs for the badges. It's quite frustrating to search the forums for a clear answer to these questions (due to people reporting it diffrently)

APM's don't count toward the pin.
I know transport isn't APC (APC is armor), I know cars do count, and I don't know if skybusses count.
Both gunship and skybus count for aircraft.

another note: the AA on mechs counts towards AA kills.

I think it's only gunship, not transport.

No streaks required. 15 mins in air vehicle and 20 kills with them. I suggest preying on the bus loads when your titan's shields go down. I got mine in the nick of time before they blew up my titan.

Play on a high pop gibralter server, there are so many choke points to use RDX's and APMs. I rack in 43 kills in a round whilst going for gold.
