Sir. Elxx of the Sir. Community (http://www.sircommunity.com/) is back again today with a small update to the recently released BattleDirector. Here is the change log for this new version:
• "BF2142 Location" and "BF2142 EXE" condensed into one "BF2142 EXE Location" field to reduce confusion
• "Mods" field is now updated when settings are saved.
• Added "Repair GameLogicInit.con". This should only be used if for some reason your PC crashes while BattleDirector and BF2142 are running.
• Fixed desktop shortcut on installer.

We corner the market in Battlefield filming. If you know how to film, you join The Sir. Community, lol.

Kinda annoyed me at first because I figured people would go "Oh, he just asked all his Sir. friends to post." Which I certainly didn't do, it took a lot of poking just to get one or two people willing to even test this. :p
But yeah, we are the Battlefield filming community. Accept no substitutes (you know Diet Pepsi tastes like crap). And I think it's great that we can give back to everybody through apps like this. BattleDirector is what we use for all our filming, so enjoy! :)

How does this thing work? I think I have all settings correct. I tried testing doing the following: Load Battledirector. Start a local co-op server. Type "demo.RecordDemo Take1" in the colsole. It says "demo recording". Play the round. Exit the game and now have "take1-def.bf2cam" and "take1.bf2142demo" in my \Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\demos folder. I hit the refresh button in BattleDirector and it says "no files found". I know I'm missing something...any help would be appreciated... or a link to a guide. Thx
EDIT---> Nevermind...it magically started to work... :)

Hey i want to use Battledirector 1.6 to make some movies of Battlefield 2.
BUT if i push the Button "Play Freecam" it doesnt load the Battlerecorder file. It only opens the "normal" Battlefield 2 menu (in window mode) and i have to logg in. I have Windows Vista maybe thats the problem ??
Excuse my english, i'm from europe
Tom
I would take that to the Sir. Forums (http://sircommunity.com/forums/)
