2142 Map sizes vs BF2 map sizes

are these 10 maps exceedingly smaller than what BF2 offered? The china-centric maps ( minus the Great Wall ) were extremely detailed and pretty entertaining, but these maps seem much less so in terms of size and attention to detail.

I find that they are the same kind of sizes (The ones that can have Titan mode in them, the big ones obviously) as the Chinese levels, but you can travel about on foot between flags as they are all very central. It has lots of space to move around and circumvent defenses at the expense of time. Attention to detail I don't agree with you on, the levels in this are full of wee buildings, and interesting wee knooks and crannys that you can ambush vehicles from while they travel between flags.

I think they're a good size, but I wish they weren't so dreary. I'm sure the dreariness was intentional, but I remember BF42 maps-set during WWII which was a dreary time- as being more colorful.

the conquest only maps seem generally smaller than BF2 maps (or perhaps more concentrated) but the titan maps are quite a bit bigger :)

They do feel pretty monochrome though. Need more colours =(
