Probably would never make it in, but I was curious about your opinions.
What about adding a new dimension to gameplay?
The titan rear doors are sealed shut once the shields go down, and there are basic locks on the top vents.
To open the doors, you can blow them open (same with vents), or...
What about a hack element? Someone with a hack-kit (player ability?) could hack into the security console outside. Once in, the goal is to bypass security measures to unlock the doors. The outside console has basic security access.
There would be several keywords. Only one (randomly selected) gives access to the back doors. No one knows which keyword it is. A counter-hacker inside could see the progress and file hack attempts that the outside hacker is attempting and try to stop him.
Once inside, you can try hacking into a higher security console. The system commands in there would allow transfering the team access to certain parts of the titan, ie taking over titan turrets (could hack into the AA turrets and turn them to your side to help with boarding), disabling corridor shields, disabling security announcements, etc... However, with a hack-kit, someone inside can counter-hack. So, while you have a hacker outside trying to open the security doors, a hacker inside could be battling it over across the network with the one outside. The counter-hacker can input higher security functions to slow down or stop the outside hacker, or the outside hacker can force more difficult security attacks to try to slow down the counter-hacker. Pretty much, you'd cover your hacker while he tries to bring down titan security, while the guy inside is trying to prevent that from happening. If a security system goes to the other team, the defensive hacker can try to bring it back online for his team. Possibly the hack element could help win the corridor camp battles too...perhaps a very tough hack that involves "purging" the corridors with tear gas or something.
The "mini-game" of hacking would involve opening up enough ports or accessing enough files, while the defender would be trying to close up the ports or cut the interaction with the files off.
Of course, you could also traditionally blow open the doors...but you would need a hacker to be able to transfer security rights to whichever team.
