A lawsuit because EA won't fund for US servers for you to spam claymores on? There's hundreds of over US servers out there for your enjoyment. As far as browser...what issues are you having aside from it being a "joke"? I personally think the browser is fine. What support do you need from EA? You haven't cited any examples as to why support is subpar. Pretty simple, you paid for a license to play a game that comes with no warranty. If you don't like it, stop playing it, but don't post nonsense like this in these forums in the future, because I can hear the flame train on it's way into town right now.

Do you care if it's a Linux or a Windows server? That's pretty much the only thing different. If you look at a server and click the "i" button, you'll go to a more detailed page about the server to include player names, scores, and server info such as friendly fire, time limit, unlock setting, ect. The server browser by default is the same to include the mod, rank, VoIP, and PunkBuster icons that were in BF2. The 2142 Logo is still there on the far left, and that's what I mean when I refer to the mod icon. Like in BF2: SF you saw a green 2 instead of the default red 2 for vanilla BF2.

EA wont give any support for a very simple reason......they release a game and dont SUPPORT it by running any of thier own servers.IS that simple enough for you to understand?....type out EA US in the ADVANCED section and 3 servers come up......THREE!!!!!...wow......and they are lamer servers at that......now thats what I call in-house support.......(ya still with me?......do you need even more simpler explanations to follow?)

on the other hand....it seems the overseas EURO EA servers enjoy excellent support....so why are they getting it and none in the US?..........

Red servers on your history tab, are servers that are no longer online at that point in time. When I recieve the SERVER ERROR message, it means the server is full. It may appear like their is some empty slots, but make sure their isn't reserved slots indicated by (). I'll agree that SERVER ERROR is very generic and doesn't elaborate on what the error is. As far as the UK having more servers online, where does it say that the US most dominate in the EA Server race to see who has the most servers? I've never read it. Perhaps there isn't as many clans or server owners leasing servers in the UK and EA is funding servers to that our friends across the ocean can enjoy this game as well.

I still don't get what you are trying to say? Your pissed 'cause EA didn't set up servers? Well, thats why they have clans, communities, etc. that set them up.

The browser is fine for me, but the more important thing is it connects to the servers sooo much faster than BF2 which makes it all worth the while.

Okayy....

-So the browser works better than it did in BF2.
-They added a buddy list in-game finally.
-They have already released one patch and are working on releasing another one by the end of November.
-bftest11 is one of EA/DICE's test characters whose stats they edit to see if certain ranks/badges/ribbons/medals are being distributed properly.
-You have no legal grounds for any kind of lawsuit. It's a new game and it's bound to have bugs. They'll do their best to fix it so have some patience.

I honestly have no clue what you are talking about when you say EA US servers have no support but EA Euro servers have support. Do you mean there are active admins on the European servers? Do they Euro servers not crash as much? What do you mean?

If the server browser had up to the second information it would probably lag the servers like crazy...always pinging them, etc but this is one point I'll agree with you on; I wish there was some way to update the server info in the buddy list.

As it is I just spam the join button until I get in or I get tired. Sometimes I look up the server by name and hit refresh until a spot opens up, but both of these methods are pretty bad.

with a name like bftest I wouldn't be surprised if it was EA or DICE that created a player to test the stat system. Can't really brag that you hacked EAs stats servers with a name like bftest can you?

Also lots of people complained about the BF2 browser, if you set it up right (ping) cancel after 30 or 40 servers I don't see what the big deal is. BF2142 server browser is simple enough for me.

I think bftest is a no-no for discussion. I have seen several threads locked now for discussing this player name. Not sure if the developers requested it be kept hush-hush or if it's just a matter of multiple threads talking about it, but I suggest we talk more about EA US servers and less about this soldier name.

I find this with the EA multiplay servers, I am using the K-play-de servers and they are quite good, yes you get the public server fools, but that's just part of the game.

You can't sue them just because they dont have their own servers back in the US. Look how many people already have servers back there. Do they really need their own?

Currently I'm living in Japan with only 6-8 servers combined that are normally full (only 2 Titan servers too =( ). I'd be happy to go back to the US again and play on a variety of servers.
