I have been trying like crazy to get the 10 repair points in one round with no luck. Anyone out there got suggestions? I dont even see the "You got a repair point" messages very often even though I am turning wrenches on crap non-stop.

Its a ***** to get, I have not even tried.

I would say play a verdun or some huge conquest map like that, and drive around in a buggy repairing things.

The titan maps on conquest mode are huge and have LOTS of armor and other vehicles.

It just does not make sense. Last night I must have used the wrench for 15 minutes out of the 45 min or so in one round. I don't think I saw even 2 repair point messages. I know for a fact I repaired more than one tank from almost blown up to full health several times. I repaired commander assets twice = 1 repair point? ROFL. I just don't get it.

You should get more. Any time your repairing anything you stick out like a roman candle! I am currently playing engineer and one thing it really needs is a shout like "I can repair you", whenever you take out your dsytek.

Repair and healing points aren't nearly as easy to come by as ammo points. If you want a bunch of repair points, fix up the Titan guns. There's a cap on how many points you get from repairing the guns nobody is using, but you can pretty much get unlimited points from repairing guns being used by a teammate. I think the overall cap for repair points in a round is 50.

I so totally agree. A shout like that would rip the snips (dont ask me what that means). Usually i just get owned by the guy im repairing. One time i even got shot by the tank i was trying to fix as i broke cover and ran for it. I almost cried.

Repairing is a fun game, filled with excitement like the 'walker steps on you' and the 'tank fires main gun, flying backwards and squashing you'...

I did the maths a while back, and came up with:
- as support, I gain 0.47 support points per minute.
- as assault, I gain 0.31 revive/heal points per minute.
- as an engineer, I gain 0.03 repair points per minute.

e.g. for my engineer to gain 10 repair points playing 'as I normally would', I'd need a round lasting approximately 5 and a half hours...

Hence, camp the titan guns if you want the repair badges :).

I my silver while repairing the titan guns on Suez Canal, the guys in the AA guns just kept destroying em, and i also ran around like a madman and repaired every tank on the field.

Gold is impossible tbh

repairing titan guns never works for me, i bring from -100 % to 100% and i dont get the points...

or does someone need to be sitting in it?

Yeah that's the other thing isn't it. You're repairing away having finally caught up with an APC only for the driver to sh*t their pants at their smoking wreck, jump out, and peg it for the hills. Leaves you looking rather pished off. But hey least you get a repaired bit of armour to drive off in.

I just got my gold while repairing on a titan. I was just running around repairing all the guns. There were guys in all the seats and the points came no problem.

The Titan guns repair is definitely the way to go. I got my silver Engineer and Repair badge in the same game staying on the titan. I got 27 kills with the Titan guns and also got enough repair points to get my repair badge too. Funny thing is that I wasn't even trying for either badge and was surprised when they popped up...whee!
