Alright! This should complement my PC GAMER Fall or Berlin Prima strategy guide map very well. :)

Seams more like a bunch of helpful hints, was expecting a few pictures or something, but oh well.

I bought the guide, wish I had not. Some of the stuff is completely wrong. For example how the commander can tell his squads to "mine this area". Does not work the way they say it does.

The spelling and grammar is attrocious, the strategies are pretty bad, and from what I've read so far, it appears that whoever wrote the guide never made it past "recruit" status. Who the hell writes this stuff?

Also, to the guy that posted above me: "mine the area" refers to placing motion mines near the toll station (etc), which is a very useful strategy, and one of the only useful ones they put in the guide, to take out FAVs and walkers before they cap the back side of your base (when your entire team is baseraping at harbor).

I agree that it is a useful thing, but they dont explain how to actually use the darn command. While playing commander, how do you order the squad to mine an area? Which button?

EDIT: Dude, I just found out that THERE IS NO way to tell your squad to mine an area. That was a comanders tool in BF2. What did PRIMA do, just cut and past area's from their BF2 guide into the BF2142 guide?!?!? What a crappy guide. It gives totally wrong info.

Not sure if I really want to read Cerbere's... the spelling and grammar is pathetic and the strategies are an insult to people who actually play this game. It says to sneak up on the defenders through unexpected paths and whatnot, but isn't that what everyone does, and wont every defender already know about them? Come on Prima, at least tell them where these "paths" are, so the readers can be better guided when they get slaughtered trying to sneak in.

Besides, you play up walkers like they're el diablo, come for our souls.

EDIT: On Cerbere, Vehicles Spawned: 0 is wrong, each CP has a corresponding AV turret. And it's cute how you so often use terms like "organized infantry" or whatever. Ha! Good luck with that one.

it's only excerpts. it's not the full guide. they only gave u a few paragraphs, so you're not getting the full guide, as post #1 would lead you to believe.
