I'm just throwing out what map concepts I have so far. Enjoy~
Titan Skybase
EU and PAC forces fight for control of a massive airborne base used to prepare Titans for combat. There are several immobile Titan mesh-types, each with CPs in them, as well as several CPs in and on the Skybase itself. Each team would start with a "Nocap" Titan base to spawn at, which would spawn a Tank/Battlewalker and an APC. Naturally this map should support vehicles, and the Titan bays could be refitted and used as vehicle spawns, with the front decks serving gunships and dropships as normal.
Grounded Titan
A massive EM pulse has temporarily grounded a PAC (or EU, whatever) Titan. This is a Conquest: Assault map. The PAC have assembled a hasty defense around their Titan, and must fend off incoming EU troops attempting to capture the Titan. CPs would be 2-3 Nocap basecamps around the defense, with PAC gate CPs on each wall around the grounded Titan, and three CPs within the Titan itself - one on the front deck/flight deck, one in the Reactor Room, and one in the Cargo Bay.
Titan Graveyard
Many Titans have been destroyed in the war, but that number pales in comparison to the number lost in this region. Both sides refuse to assign any more Titans to this area, and instead send teams in to salvage the ruins. Each team starts with a Nocap base, and there are downed Titans all over the map. Most of them are fully or partially buried under snow drifts, and several contain CPs. Some are buried at odd angles in the ground, making it hard to navigate around in them, and snow has drifted into many of them!

All your ideas sound fantastic and id play them :)
but as for the Titan Graveyard, there is already "suppodly" a Titan Graveyard map, Shuhia Taiba, the map description is as follows:
When the EU and PAC clashed at Shuhia Taiba, both sides utilized more than twenty Titans between them. By the end of fighting a year later, only two remained. Continuous assaults rendered half of the capabilities useless by the first month. Years later, covered in metal carnage, Shuhia Taiba would be referred to as the Titan Graveyard.
Thing is Shuhia Taiba for dont look like one.. where is all the Titan wreckage then ?
but yea anyways.. i really liked that idea of defending the downed titan, maybe a potd could be made "looks like a beached whale:p or something along those lines"

That was my point. For all the Titans that have supposedly been lost in the region, surely there would be more wreckage?

Space-age materials aren't biodegradable. ;) There definitely should be more wreckage.

Well, someone said this to me whilst I was pondering why;
Perhaps the reason there isn't much wreckage is because this is supposed to be the start of that particular conflict.

I might have a go at the Ground titan and have it so there is a flag that only EU can cap (EU is the team that had the titan crash)

How's about a Titan map in Rome :D
An EU titan above the Colosseum, and the PAC Titan coming from the North.
And conquest on that map would be sweet as well, an EU uncap in the Colosseum with spawns for vehicles and flaps stretching North.
It seems you are thinking about maps that would require ALOT of work, almost modding a bit to make new meshes and textures, so this one would be well suited.

Maps invariably require a lot of work. I mean, come on, who would really be interested in a completely flat, featureless plane with five silos scattered randomly in Titan Mode?
The whole point of maps, I think, is to have flavour and story behind them. Detail is a must. ;)

Underground Complex
Either a Conquest or Assault map, taking place entirely underground, in a big subterranean bunker/warehouse/laboratory/whatever complex. A healthy mix of narrow corridors and big halls where even the odd vehicle may spawn (but can hardly leave), and where every place has at least two routes to get to it. While there aren't any vehicles to speak of, there are some well-placed Rorsch emplacements, specific to the map, deadly but vulnerable to engineer fire. Imagine the AA turret with the gun of a Bogatyr and the secondary fire firing either frag grenades at high speed, PK rockets, or APC mortar. Or maybe make the mortar launcher yet another emplacement. Additionally, certain routes that could be blocked and cleared by use of RDX and/or the engineer tool.

Operation Cedar Falls is a map that introduced tunnels to BFV, so its not impossible

Titan Graveyard? I posted that on the 22cw mapping forums ages ago.
And as for the "Titan Skybase", someone else had also posted a titan construction facility idea.
And Grounded Titan was an idea I was playing around for a while just constantly considering it.
I swear you guys gave me some sort of reverse tinfoil hat. :cry:
Anyway if I manage to think of any new ideas before they get "stolen", I'll post them here.

i love the grounded titan concept. especially having multiple uncaps in/near it and having to defend it. it might even work as a final cappable in assault lines mode.

Airbase huh? Like fully functional titan with guns and everything and then CPs on it? Maybe even keep the shields so the team holding the hanger bay can run down into the cargo bay, but not the other way around. And each team has it's own uncap titan, but the enemy could still camp the cargo bay, maybe have a captureable CP on the back deck, then an uncap in the hanger.
But what about the ground? One CP down there spawning an APC? All water so anyone that falls off it screwed? A small island only so people who fall into the water can be picked up, and an AA gun on the island making it a key position?
So many possibilities!
