Why is knifing OH SO satisfying?

;) Im not really sure why it is but nothing gets me excited like knifing somebody who just sniped you or has been killing you all round. There really isnt anything amazing about the concept of a one hit kill from a blade at dangerously close range but for some reason ... I love it :p . Out of all the things EA and Dice have put into this game to make it as fun as an experience as possible, I take the most enjoyment out of the simplest thing. Sure nailing a tank with the railgun from behind is awesome and rushing behind enemy lines with your own personally selected squad can be blood pumping but nothing compares the sweet sound of your blade as it hits and ravages the metal plates of the enemy overarmor followed by the agonizing scream of defeat and humiliation.

That too is what I think has me smiling after every knife kill I acheive ... the humiliation. I know we've all felt it at one time or another ... Perhaps when you think youre so funny as you continously remove the titan guns knowing there is an engineer or two pathetically trying to "resurrect" the dead guns but then out of know where, comes your shameful end ... A scurrying of footsteps followed by a *clink* ... "That sounds like a metal to metal clink" you say to yourself. Then as you curiously spin the AA turret you realize what exactly that "clink" was. Some player half way across the world has spotted your unsuspecting self and has decided to take your dignity. :cool: Shame Shame you naughty knifer.

It is the reason I jump at the sound of footsteps. The thought of someone who takes so much pleasure, as I do, in slaying their opponent with a swift blade to the face can be nerve wrecking. ;) You never know where or when someone will ravage you so ... And nothing infuriates me more when an enemy empties a clip trying to kill me ( which BTW is impossible :D ) and then I show them my true intentions ... to put a quick one in their jugular :evil: ... AND THEN, ohhoohoho THEN they unhook the PISTOL at their belt. "How DARE you!" is the first thought into my head. Have you no honor? When challenged so formally to a duel, you disgrace it by spitting in my face? I even wait sometimes before attempting the kill to see if they would like to take back their foolish and dishonorable decision. 99% of the time though ... they dont. :hmm: My final words "I am terribly sorry that you have succomb to the persuations of fear, dear sir, but now you deserve a humilating death and die you shall ... "

I understand that some people do not care about knifing and perfer their chances with a pistol to that with a knife but honestly ... do you really think you can win against this? :cool: :p lol j/k But if you love knifing like I do ( and apherently I love it enough to have no life for the 10 minutes it took to write this :D ) then share your thoughts and stories friends because knifing is as dirty, nasty, low-down way to defeat your opponent and I love every minute of it.

I love knifing but I love it 10x more when the enemy is facing me and shooting like a crazed manic who is in a mad panic to kill me. One guy unloaded a whole smg clip and switched to pistol and I still got him knifed. He went crazy after he died <3

Ah, another lusty knifer. Let the bodies hit the floor. I particularly enjoy jumping into a group of 3-4 enemies, sticking at least 1 or 2 of them, while they TK themselves with Support & Voss trying to shut me down. lmao...it's like a free extra gift. Kind regards Sir from a top50 knifer.

Ah, knifing unsuspecting snipers gives me such a thrill, but half the time my blade does not register with the enemy and i get a facefull of lead. I get much more satisfaction giving the unsuspecting player a face full of pilum :D .

How is that satisfying, it just means your a full blown coward who has to hang back to get kills.

Lol. I have around 300+ knife kills and 6-7 knife based awards. I get them

a. on titans
b. running around PAC uncap on Minsk knifing snipers in the rocks :D
c. fall of berlin and belgrade behind enemy lines with knives.
d. knifing my best friend

Knifing is great when you get a dist. combat efficiency pin just from finding a whole squad prone and firing machineguns/snipers at opponents.

Knifing is best when...

a recon is so concentrated on sniping that one guy he doesn't notice the sound of a knife being drawn, sharpened and plunged into his back :D

an assault guy is scoping with the airburst and want their rocket to explode just so

a engineer who are so engrossed in vehicle sniping that one battlewalker that he doesn't see you superimposed onto his scope's periphial vision

a support guy who fires so constantly and with such a noisy gun that he doesn't notice you before you open his jugular

btw, the clark is so slow I cant tell you how many people have tried to kill me. That is my favorite match-up, clark vs Combat Knife. I think I win 3/4 times its way too hard to hit someone jumping around you with a slow single shot .... but good luck :eek: muwhahaha

Out of all the most moronic concepts in this game, knifing without a doubt, takes the cake. There is really nothing much like watching a grasshopper on speed with a knife and an attitude. Even if we ignore the superhuman sneaking abilities that each and every fully equipped soldier in this game has, some will just stub soldiers from the front. That wouldn’t pass as realistic in a warner brothers cartoon.

You know what? I take it back; knifing takes second place in my list after the new and exciting ‘leaping choppers’ trick. That’s the one where a chopper systematically takes off and lands over soldiers, mostly in highly concentrated areas, obviously killing them in the process. I’ve seen some guys getting really good at this, and I must say - when I saw that one done, is when I finally understood that I’m actually playing the first person version of super mario.

really cool knife fight me and this other guy had the today, we were going at it trying to hit each other for about 2 minutes when he decided he was tired of the and pulled out his pistol, thought better of it and put it away and got out his knife again and BOOM out of nowhere some sniper headshoted him, i had no idea where that guy was but it was pretty dang funny after such a long kinfe fight, since he was about to charge me again and then i just saw him fall over

I really have been noticing it more and more often but my team now-a-days has like 25% of the skill I have and the enemy has 90% of the skill I have ( :cool: ).... which has a very negative effect on the match because its pretty much me against 32 other mini-me's :rolleyes: what can ya do?
