Uhm really...

Truly the lambert does not shoot as fast as it seems. But it sounds as if two bullets shoot per shot. Really, I love my lambert beyond all else. But, EA you have two choices. Either: Make it shoot 900rpm and give it 40 bullets like the Voss, or give it some extra near/far range abilities.

I would go with the first choice, as that would be preferable. But really the lambert only shoots 600 rpm which is slower than they keep making it out to be.

Opinions? Because I really love the lambert, but its hard to win in a gun fight with it ;-;

I love the Lambert and it's fine with me! It's my best gun for a reason :D! It's good this way, but if you feel incresing something on it, i won't be stopping you.

I agree btw, the Lambert firing rate is not that impressive. Doesn't feel like it's advertised for sure. Now should it be changed? I don't know.

I shout "STAND BACK!" into team chat w/ text before I blow the core. Twice that I've done this, everyone stood back from the core and didn't get blown up. I actually waited until they all got out of the way too. :)

lambert dosent do enough damage at range to need the stabilizer...barely does enough close combat..

Yeah, I was suprised to find the stabilizer works with the Lambert myself...

But it does... Not that I can see any reason to use it with it though, Lambert is a run and gun in your face type of weapon and the stabilizer doesn't make much of a difference at range to help that much.

The lamber is just fine. It's supposed to be close combat and it is. I can't count how many times I've hosed people down with it. The goal is balance, not some uber-kit.

People still haven't learned from BF2, let EA just work on bugs in the game, when they start messing with weapons, it just creates more problems than solutions. Lambert is a decent weapon as is, it was just meant to give a sniper load to a guy with a decent close range weapon so he could take advantage of the mines and all while having a fighting chance, it wasn't made to be a super weapon that will wipe out all others.

Lambert works fine as is, no need to change something that isn't broken. That just leads to more problems down the road, we've seen it before.

nothing like blowing 3 consoles and the core and evertime you shout nobody gets back and you end the round with a score of -3.


the rewards are very messed up in this game. 7 measely defnse kills nets you 23 points and a core destruction only 2pts.
