Stalingrad 2142

Im thinking of porting the classic 1942 version of Stalingrad to 2142. What do you guys and gals think? Would you play it?

You do realise the Refraction engine uses obnoxious amounts of memory and CPU power right? The BF2 engine (And the 1942 engine) are both horrible, partly because they have very similar code and are unoptimized.

Ok so it sounds good playability. BUT! there is a problem with your idea. This is 2142, new ice age. Stalingrad is cold enough but in 2142 it's like fighting in the antarctic now. So....consider something closer to the equator.

2 gigs of ddr2-800, conroe core duo 6600, radeon 1950xtx = NO PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE

EU as the German side, since they're the Anglo-Saxon advanced technology army. PAC as the Russians, since they breed like Asian rabbits and leech technology off of better nations.

I'd play it, since I imagine it'd be a hot spot for Recon snipers.
