What's up with the badges?

I'm waiting to get my silver pistol, gold explosives, and gold titan defense/attack badges. I've been waiting for a week now and I have way more than what the badges require.

There is an IAR (In a Round) requirement also!

Yes, but sometimes the IAR reqs don't work right. Like I just went 40-10 in a loooong titan game using Recon the whole time. More then half those kills were from explosives, yet no gold badge. I've also gotten 10+ titan attack points several times without getting my titan assault silver, and spent rounds doing nothing but healing on Camp G and still no bronze medic badge (let alone silver.)

The only thing you can do forget about them, keep playing, and hope they eventually click.

yes Ive also noticed that, well Lets say You need 20 kills with Support and You also need 15 hours too. This round u get 20 kills in one round with support and the next round u finally get 15 hours of support. Guess wat now u need to get 20 killz in one round AGAIN

Wow, if that's true that's nuts. I'll try doing that with the pistol badge and one of the titan ones, see if that works.

In A Single Round requirements must be fulfilled AFTER Global requirements.

Well thats obvious! But some badges still don't work. I can't get my Medic Silver Excellence Badge because the system is screwed up. I've got the hours easily and for 5 games in a row I've had more than 20-30+ heals and still no Medic Silver Badge its frustrating!

Medic hours is bugged you need to check your assault class hours for hub.

Explosives is a bit iffy, I spent a whole round using explosives, well over 20 kills, but no badge, then next round got it after the 20th kill

You need to put all these problems in the "Current Bugs" and "Bugs and Issues threads / sticky above.

you guys have to make sure you have all the global requirements BEFORE you try to get the badge. Many people think they can get the IAR and global requirements in the same round, but it does not work like that. It has to be in your BFHQ as well so it could take 3 or 4 rounds after you fulfill the global requirements to actually be eligible for the IAR requirements.

indeed. I dont bother for weapon specific badges until after I have achieved the silver or gold global requirements.

for example I tried for the explosive gallantry badge last night and got the bronze, silver, and gold all in one round for the 20 kills (and the efficiency pin). its a waste of time and effort to do it any other way. the bronze really does not give you enough career points to bother.

I haven't had any problems myself. Although I did get the Legion of Merit ribbon before I got the Soldier Merit ribbon.....strange. :hmm:
