My Special Day in the Titan Vents

Ok so my titan shield was about to go down and for some odd reason I had been playing recon with all the good explosives on me. I podded up to my titan and jumped down in the vents. First I placed APMs underneath the holes to the vents and once those were used up, I decided to use my RDX. One by one the little creepers kept jumping down only to get blown up. Once I ran out of my RDX, I just grabbed one of the fallen enemies since naturally they were recon with RDX to blow up the consoles. It took them bout 16-20 kills to realize not to go down that vent if they wanted to live. I got bored waiting so I decided to go on attack which I am not nearly as good as, but the moral of the story is this:

and that's coming from a guy who only had about 30 kills with explosives before that round. :D

yup...im almost half way there now...i've found my calling.

place RDX in the sweet spots outside cap points...find a safe spot...wait...boom

and of course defending and attacking titan gets a good bit. (They never expect APM's on their own titan. :D

Yep, that's the way to do it. My best round was 175 end score and a lot of that has to do with the APM and RDX, though I had a hefty amount of Lambert and nade kills too. My favorite rounds are the ones where the enemy floods your Titan because then I just put down two APM (one where they drop and one where they turn the corner), and RDX (where they turn the corner) and then hide in the little place at the end of the catwalk with the window. Then I get kills from guys who try to go down the vent while sitting in my perch knocking guys off who gather around the hall ways trying to get the consoles. Since they bunch up I just throw a grenade, kill two or three and then take out my trusty Lambert and finish them off. It's just a slaughterhouse and I often end up with double the points of even the second best person on the server.

Attacking a Titan is rediculous. There is no fun in it if there are people chucking nades down the hallway. There needs to be some other way to get to those consoles, either from above or below.

The gold badges are a pain to get, I have the gold Engineer, Knife, Pistol, Explosives, Squad Leader, and Titan Excellence and i'm 4 hours from both Assault and Support Gold as well as Engineer Excellence. I have almost half the time of other Brigadier Generals, but the badges help in the long run and make it more of a challenge.

It's only the deaths that I have no control over that get to me. Stepping on a mine in plain sight doesn't bother me, but spawning in on top of one does.

I actually laugh whenever I find myself standing in a pile of explosives.
