Timed Badges + Titan Mode = ???

Well I was playing titan mode when I realized nobody was commander. Luckily it was early in the game. I told my team we had no commander but no one did anything. So I applied and hopped in an apc.

I was doing the whole command stuff while in the apc hoping to get the badge that requires you to just sit in an armored vehicle for 15 minutes.

But at the end of the round I did not get it. I was wondering if it was because people can spawn in the apc or because a tank is considered armor.

just need some clarification here

You didnt get it because taking up any vehicles while you faff around "commanding" is stupid. If you're gonna command, command, and dont take up team resources in the process.

I think the badge you're refferring to requires you to get so many kills in armour as well as "just sitting in it".

nobody needed it. Besides we demolished both games I was commander. I didn't "faff" I just used one to be in rather than sit somewhere. It was a 48 person server too, and we got the enemy shield donw so fast and our titan was close so the team just podded over instead.

I know what you mean, might as well SOMEBODY be commander right? People just don't like commanders using vehicles.

I am with you here, there was a mutiny vote for a commander.

It was successful, the guy who started the vote (a field marshall gold) didnt take the commander position, nor did anyone else.

so i like, yay 2x for me.

i did EVERYTHING a commander would do, even back up a squad as they got past the EU on cerbere, BUT NO, they just have to kick vote me, so i got pissed and just stood there in the only walker on the map,

i think people mutiny the commander because they want the gold medal for first place. From what i have seen the winning commander on a good team will usually get first because of the 2x. Thats the only reason i can think of for people who mutiny a commander then do not take the position. Sure people mutiny bad commanders all the time, but i see people mutiny commanders when there team is winning and the commander is doing a good job. Been a victim of it myself.

Try Asian servers, there is a mutiny as soon as you get in.
