Hello all,

Yes this is my second post, probably my last. Well I bought BF2142 and the disc didn't work, so after I tried everything... Literally everything. So I went and bought another, and bless my heart it worked, and I got so into this game. But one day, I couldn't take it anymore, the crashs, the login problems, the hackers ( the real ones, not the people who are just really skilled and called hackers by idiots ), and what probably told me to throw the game away, the abuse of admin powers. I am sick of it all EA once again puts forth a great game, yet due to its heavy relliance on mutliplayer, and 60% of the people who play are literally immature children, who ruin the game for the others. I am 18, sure I am young, I rarely even type in-game, I just play and have fun, but when I come home and get online to be insulted by children, I come to realize this game isn't worth it. Also, I am shocked at some of these server providers, the abuse of admin powers I have seen is just shocking. But what also is shocking is some of these admins are children! or idiots, which might be worse. Anyway enough about my frustrating day.

I would like to thank most of you here, for a great BF2142 experience ( most of the time), atleast with you guys. I'll miss this game, but never again will I buy an EA game which centers itself on multiplayer. Infact probably the last EA game I buy will be C&C 3, anyway good bye all, I hope you all have a better time with this game then I did.

I can understand your frustration, Razor. But it is too bad you are leaving because of the idiots that are out there.

Don't get me wrong, having to play the game with immature 12 year olds *is* really annoying. I get abused all the time. "zOMG, I sh0t U 87 t1m3z!! U R teh Hax()r!!! I slept w1th UR MUtH3r!!!" and so on, but it is usually because I am doing well against them at that moment.

Best response is to let your Voss do the talking in my opinion.

Also, maybe try a different server? In my opinion, the clans that have a bit older members in them tend to have pretty good clan servers where the admins are more interested in providing a friendly playing environment and won't put up with much abusive behaviour from either the admins or the clan members themselves.

Case in point is Project Australia Clan www.projectaus.com. They have a great server to play on and you won't see much crap happening there. And I'm sure they are but one of hundreds of good places to play out there.

Ultimately it's your choice, but don't leave soley because of the immature kids. Remember it is Christmas holidays in a lot of countries and that is why you are seeing alot more of them I'd bet. When they go back to school I think your situation will improve quite a bit.

While I have experienced all the mentioned in-game problems, I have never experienced it to the extent that I would consider giving up on the game. So I must say I am sorry for you, but at the same time it seems you have 'just' been unlucky.

I can easily play an entire night without experiencing hackers, verbal abuse or admin abuse. Sure I see others get into a competition of trashtalking, but hardly more than once every three or so maps.

I wonder if it has something to do with the servers, but then again I just join whatever I can...

btw that really sucks...with all the patches that came out the gameplay is better than before(they still havnt gotten rid of the abusive admin Skunk_2142) and the game runs alot smoother
