Double Points?

Anyone heard an update on when this is suppose to happen? Also, is there any chance additional unlocks are added to the game with the next expansion / booster?

Well there is gonna be an expansion and its gonna have more unlocks. But it's gonna be like BF2 when u need it to unlock them. No double points

I don't think they will add double points. You can get so many points with badges, ribbons and pins. In BF2 you got more points for kills but no points for bagdes and ribbons. The bonuses for the pins etc. more than add up in 2142.

What do you need double points for? I have literally skipped an entire level with a gold badge and an awesome round. Double points would make the game last half as long, I'm not really into that.

im not particularly interested in either, but its now January... another unkept promise from EA perhaps?

What baffles me is that as easy as it is to get rank in this game who the heck would need double points? Reminds of the Ganz. Thing needs its overheat reduced so instead they up its damage. Always giving us what we dont need and what we didnt ask for. SUHWEET!

I was hoping that the implementation of in-game adverts would allow EA to put out additional content for free, instead of once again dividing our community with lame booster/expansion mods... sigh. :(

I hear you... It is sadly still the worst MG out there. Accuracy? Like the MGs have that in abundance to begin with... The LMGs are plenty good when nearing overheat, or when you burst them up there (keeping them in the good accuracy area).

Now the Ganz is just as good damagewise as the LMGs, have an advantage in accuracy it doesn't really get much benefit from, has heavy recoil (which kind of negates the accuracy) and has the worst sight even compared to the Zeller.
They should have kept it's damagepotential lower, but given it a proper sight and longer overheat time, say a full half a second or a total of 2 secs for overheat. That would make it an interesting and useful competitor to the LMGs, while not overpowered wildly.
