Zellar Question, will influence my unlocks

Just wanted to know: Can the Zellar pierce gunship/transport cockpits like the M95 from BF2? And is there anything else it can pierce?

im not to sure bout the poercing but from what i hear it can blow up the C7 and APM mines.

No, but it does detonate explosives, which I consider a far more valuable bonus. Used to be able to use it to detonate an enemy's explosives, and if it took out a person, it'd cause a TK. Glorious.
