The Battlefield 40k (http://www.battlefield40k.com/index.php) mod team is back today with a new update. Here's what they had to say about their BF2142 mod version:
Sorry for the long silence in news for our mod. Hawk is working on a CGI intro movie for the mod. and has been doing some nice CGI still renders for the mod. Hayes is having problems creating working custom first person hands to go in game on our infantry models. Thats why on all the first person weapons you see at the moment have no hands showing. Wezil one of our new members gained entry to our dev team through his work on the Tau EMP grenade and the current work in progress Tau Drone turret. Mycatfield returns to work soon from his break, he has been able to update and resolve some of the issues that are resident in the marine model.
BF40K : BF2142
Bunnysnot has been testing our older bf1942 made models for the marine in game along with the marine. Development as with the BF2 version is tied to models being completed. All that can be done for now is creation of effects and implementing the damage system for the mod. Our BF2 version is still more mature in development.
