Well i find that i do a lot better when on the PAC team, due to the stealth-like nature of them. My Nekomata has taken out countless feeble A8 Tiger's with ease.

And they definitely had different uniforms and outfits. everything looked different, more wintery (duh :rolleyes: ).

And that Hachimoto is just a hover jeep. Not better really. Needs seamless coordination with the gunner to make the most of it while sliding. Otherwise you have to stop for the gunner to shoots good. In Nekomata you could at least shoot and drive by yourself.

Hachimoto doesn't make tight turns like the FAV does, so in citymaps FAV > Hachi, but in open Hachi > FAV.

No but, please explain to me how are you going benefit the hover ability while driving solo. Common sense and extrapolation.

And you see the connection betweem this video and SF intro video where the jeep owned them all (like the hachimoto does here). It turned out quite differently in SF also than the intro showed. Nothing did change. I'm fairly sure EA is not screwing up the balance with Hachi. Could be a little better than FAV but not superior.

On the other hand when you freeze the frame at 0:23 you see two man team and two guns. The post I made in the news section in the official release thread said that this has anti-vehicle capabilities indicates that hachi has anti-armour gun also. If this all is true then hachimoto could be the next rave among the forumites. Then the sliding would be most welcome feature. There is a possibility that the second gun (fixed on the side) is fired by the driver making hachimoto really a killer in right hands and forcing me to eat my assumptions with all the salt that comes with it. We'll see.

I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING!!! the driver has guns aswell, u look through carefully and pause it at 23 sec, take a look for yourself, there is the gunner gun and guns mounted on the side for the driver

I thought the Pac would attack from the North....thus northern strike.....the story is getting me confused, I wished there was some closure to the BF2 story...Did the Chinese/Americans/MEC win?

meh... a bunch of infantry standing behind blockades trying to hit a hover jeep, as it catches fire at the bottom of the hill that it attempts to jump down, doesnt look like much fun to me.

Yikes..as if it wasn't hard enough to visually separate friend from foe...for the first several seconds of the action footage, I thought it was two of of the FMJ-boys on a TK rampage (lol..not that they would ever do that).

Nor am I particularly thrilled with the whole hover-nonsense..and while the little downhill-trek looks passably amusing, you can slo tell that it's taking damage on the way down from the terrain...so it's probably not going to be the one vehicle in the game that actually has offroad capabilities.

If there is any hope to be gleaned from this video, it would be that the terrain on the maps might allow for a less forced and linear approach-vector.

It is also encouraging to note that they, for once, don't appear to have gone with the oterwise perfectly symmetrical unit-structure in the booster pack - even if it is too little and too late to turn EU and PAC into two sides that have any actual differences.

I forsee the hover-speeder to become the bane of infantry existance.

Looked exactly the same as normal 2142, except there is a vehicle that will be used to drive around our bases by noobs running people over.

Infantry based is a promise I heard before, for infantry based they need to consider removing granades.

Oh and for people saying its not an off-road vehicle because of the smoke and fire seen at the end, if you go back a bit before, it is on fire before it goes down the hill. I know that still doesn't change the fact its not off-road. In fact I don't think its any-road, seems more like air.

grenades are neccesary for infantry....what are you going to use them for ?? versus vehicles?? and think that this is a little trailer only showing a bit about the game....we will have more trailers for sure showing more things about this but dont spect they show all the new things on the first trailer.
