Well, from the trailer, it looks pretty sweet. Those hover FAV's looks like they'll be hard to catch.

If people don't want to buy the BP because of their own personal politics with EA, that's fine. But I think that it'll add some sweet maps, weapons, and vehicles for those of us looking for something different. And even if the naysayers are right and two months down the road there are no servers running the maps, big deal. I still play SP every now and then when the jerkplayers get too annoying. :)

I'll probably buy it if it's not too much money.

I just saw the trailer, and I have to say it(the hachimoto in particular) looks awesome, even if I am participating in the whole boycott thingamajig(which is soooo unfair, since my favorite vehicles are the fast jeeps, and it looks like this will be one I would love). My problemo is that servers will have the same problems as in BF2. Meh... Maybe, just maybe...it'll be free...but I probably hope too much.

Don't assume that it'll be released in March just because it says Spring 2007 it could be released in April, May or later if they run into some major bug-a-roos. It could be released tomorrow seeing how some places are experiencing spring like conditions through out the world. Remember it's EA we're talking about.

It looks stupid to me. There is really nothing new here. They include a new apc and they add some box shaped vehicle that probably has the same code as the buggies from BF2. There are so many patches out there for free that people have put more effort into than EA did with this patch sized booster crap. Buying this will only cause more of this junk to be released.

Looks like it from what we've seen so far. Keeps the theme, I guess, but I wouldn't say "no" to some new architecture.

I guess, not that it really matters, since the buildings aren't terribly interactive anyway. Our ability to move around inside them is truly minimal; for the most part they're really there to break up the landscape and give us something to hide behind. ;)

Well it is a first person shooter set in the future....not sure how real it can be...:)

But yeah, new buildings would be cool...the only time I notice 'em though is when I'm waiting for the countdown to respawn after I've died yet again.

The video looks awesome, however I'm not sure about booster packs anymore.
the 3 for bf2 were a waste, but aleast it added more weapons.

I need to see a list of the new unlocks. If they are yummy then it might sway me.

All I know is I won't be driving that goliath around... Looks like it handles even worse than the APC, and I can barely maneuver the apc around the burning cars on the bridge in suez. :(

Driving the APC is a little cumbersome, but I've found if you drive it like you would a boat, it works out much better.

Of course, if you've never driven a boat, that bit of advice is kind of meaningless... :p

Goliath doesn't interest me much but the hover FAV looks great. I like the new PAC look and new unlocks will give me something to play for again. :)

Overall I don't think new content is ever bad, even when you have to pay for it. The only problem is so many people will never get the booster packs and in a few months you won't find many servers running them. :(
