Will DICE go the way of most big business these days and, in the effort to entice new business, pee off their loyal customers?

Phone your bank for a new credit card and, "Oh, thanks for being a customer for 20 years, but, I'm sorry, the new promotional rate is only for new customers".

Buy the new expansion and the fun new unlock devices and weapons cost you 5000 points for your next high rank and cost a 'new customer' a few hundred for their first 'column'?

Nope. I suggest searching about this.
There's plenty of threads on it.

The system will be based on "unlock pins". Rank won't matter, you get the new unlocks by doing things in-game.
