??
What is going on with overprotective servers? Are people that uppity that they are afraid of seeing "wtf" will corrupt their minds, and of the children that might be playing on the servers?
Are there any servers out there that are not run by the Christian Coalition?

Well, I use WTF as more of a very large questionmark.
If something happens that I don't understand at all, then it comes out. Such as an inexplicable TK (they happen). If I just wrote '????' it could easly be mistaken for me not understanding something another wrote. WTF is a questionmark that includes a certain amount of surprise and irritation.
The words themselves are perhaps not great, but when it comes to fast and easy ways of conveying this type of message (which is a fairly common occurance) it simply has no equivalent.
That does not mean I like people cursing in general or abusing others. But the censoring can certainly go too far.

Lol on the servers I'm on, harldy anyone says "hi" or "gg"... nevermind get into theological discussions.
Only time I ever did one of the above was a guy on the other team was taunting my teammate with his knife through the titan corridor shield, so I knifed him from behind and proceeded to knife his dead body... but that was just to teach him not to be cocky. :D

You cannot swear on many servers, by the word, slang or even abbreviation. BUT! You can kill the enemy anyway you like.
Way of the world.
Ironic i know, but its the way it is and will never change. Only get worse.

Killing the enemy? You're shooting at pixels dude.
Eitherway, I think the abbreviation thing is a bit ridiculous. I mean, using abbreviations is practically censoring yourself. Its like saying "Darn". You know what they mean, but obviously if they were trying to curse, they would just, well, curse.
Still, I like to play it safe and think of my own shock words. Like instead of saying "Who gives a ****." you say "Who gives a hack!" or something along those lines.

guys, this isn't a religious discussion...
Some servers choose to have some rather odd filters in place. Solution: don't play on them.
