Simple idea. A player ability unlock
Dragon Skin
-Allows you to keep Heavy armor without the loss of stamina and sprint
Eh eh? Just thought it was kinda lame that dragon skin is out now, soldiers walk like they dont even have it, and yet 100 years in the future they wear freaking whatever it is that weighs them down that much, heh. You'd have to many types of armor stuff by then, and trust me, none would kill a soldiers movement abilities, if anything, they be taking away equipment that interfwered with your kickass armor, hahaha.

Pointless.
1. What the point of heaving no armor then? For balance issues it was purposely made to lower stamina.
2. Supposedly these guns in the future are 10x more powerful and would rip today's Dragon Skin into pieces, yet since its BF2142 the engineers build heavy armor (DICE didn't give it a specific name) that can absorb some damage. That is my hypothesis because it make me sick if Dragon Skin was still used over 100 years from now.
Go watch some Discovery Channel, there are quite a lot of future shows that if you think about it, Dragon Skin will be quite useless.

Lmfao, buddy, I know alot of military contractors and a few people from gun companies, trust me, dragon skin is NOT bad in the sense you are speaking, but yes, it has it's cons, what doesn't? And trust me, it will last for years. BUT if they did advance the tech in armor, they would have armor that would have this effect, if any. I still say it's a good unlock.

Well, basically they show it here. It's really cool stuff.

Basically, 100 years in the future, you wouldn't have to wear some heavy stuff, the soldiers and commanders wouldn't stand for it, they would have researchers come up with some really advanced stuff, so trust me, you wouldn't have something weighing you down, and basically if you understand the unlocks system, the more you rank up, theoretically, you become a more valuable asset to the PAC or EU, so they allow you to access more equipment, so as a player ability, you would be a valuable asset, so they would give you the good stuff, and not stick you with the old junk.

Congrats for showing ignorance. He is talking about the new body armor that is being developed. It's been known to stop armor piercing rounds that can punch through a half of an inch of steel. It is probably the new armor that all soldiers and police will be wearing. It looks similar to dragon skin because it has these ceramic discs that overlap each other. The point is to spread out the force of the bullet.

THANK GOD some intelligence. I dont even know what runescape is :S. Hahaha. But tell me, dont you think even if this armor eventually found penetrable, they would advance it more and more, thus becomming even lighter? I still think it would be a cool unlock. -Starts his copywriting-, alright EA, I am charging 50,000 for this idea', and 20,000 in stocks for 2142, muhahahahha.
