hacking????

This might be a stupid question...but I was wondering if this is a glitch or signs of hacking on the server. I can play just fine through some maps and "die" normal with the "respawn in 5..4...3" ect. But then I will die and there will be no "critically wounded" or anything and I am able to look around somewhat. Any ideas????

Not long ago I was leading my squad to a flag for a quick cap when suddenly I seemed to vaporize. I didn't hear any sound, wasn't taking fire, I just died... and there was no sign of my body. I quickly checked the chat window and all it said was "[somebody] killed [me]". Perplexed, I asked my squad WTF just happened.

Well, there was a medic behind me who saw the whole thing. Apparently, there was an APM just behind an explosive barrel that I'd run in front of. the APM went off, the barrel blew, and I (or rather my body) flew a couple hundred feet into the air and landed on a building. I'm guessing that the death happened so quickly and with so much force that my exterior "death cam" lost track of my corpse.

This is just an example of some of the odd things that can happen out there. It's not necessarily a death for no reason... or even a bug. Rather, there was a minor bug involved, but all it was was losing track of a dead body headed for low orbit.

This happens to me during even 'standard' deaths, ie. just being shot. I don't think it has anything to do with how you die, it just shows itself at random intervals. The bug doesn't affect gameplay too badly, although you are still able to look around for your killer to a certain extent, and the direction you are looking while dead is the same direction you will be looking if revived. It might be a slight advantage if you can be looking at an enemy, for example.

This always happens to me when i have 'podded' in and get killed afterwards. Somehow when you 'pod' in your avatars 3d-model behaves differently in perspective to the ground. When you die, your camera will stil respond to mouse movement (rather uncontrollable), and the text with respawn will not show up.

this happens to me when i have my spawn marker on a squad beacon or a squad leader.

That definitely happens more with "dramatic" or insta-kill deaths, like getting hit by a tank round, etc. Not a hacker indicator.
