Patch 1.2 has G15 support

Im not sure if this has been covered already, I did a search but didnt come up with anything.

Today I installed the 1.2 beta and when I went to play my G15 LCD screen fired up with the 2142 splash screen.

Is there any way to get that kind of information on a secondary monitor? It's handy stuff, but I don't have a G15 and don't intend to buy one.

It only works if you have the latest Logitech drivers so maybe you updated?

We made a change in 1.20 that auto starts and switches your view to the app. Because of this a lot more people will notice it. :D

It's a good app so it would be a shame for people to miss it. The only thing I get annoyed about is that it presents me with my stats as a reminder of how much I suck.

Taken from my old G15 thread upon the release of v1.1 patch:

When you first load the game, you get a BF2142 splash graphic and an indicator showing the soft button 3 means 'previous screen' and soft button 4 means 'next screen'.

Once you've loaded the game, there are 2 screens.

SCREEN 1:

ping
players


And allows you to join the game using soft button 1, or scroll to the next server using soft button 2

SCREEN 2:

Career Information:

career points
next rank
time played
k/d ratio
# of dog tags collected


When you join a map, the applet now has 3 screens.

I think. Just use Xfire and expand your profile to the second monitor and you will be able to see your details.

I only wish i had the option to turn that off. I have a much better lcd app but i guess dice just dont care.

At least they actually did start supporting the G15,but prob i have with it is it's too cluttered and no way to actually pick what you want showing,if they make it customable alot more peeps would be happy and use it,they are on the right track just needs a tweak or two ;)
