13. It is so dang strange that you cannot customize and save your favorite loadouts.

hahaha yeah. Or when you spawn in a transport, and the person flys around the map (nowhere useful) just to crash. How hard are the transports to fly? I also have a few things to add to that...

When with the same team for several rounds and seeing the SAME pattern repeat itself over and over and over again.

A silo-skilled team with a lot of grabbers, getting ahead and killing the enemy titan-shield first..getting their hull down to 50% and having 2 of their consoles destroyed..then our shield fails...and what happens?

Myself and 2 others defending the consoles - invariably unsuccessfully - against a desperate enemy team who sends EVERYONE and their grandmother over to steal our teams' win with a smart move. Bravo to them for embracing the one tactic that can turn it around!

You sit there, alone..asking for backup over and over and over again and eventually you are overwhelmed.

..and what does the rest of the team do..**** around mindlessly, giving away the win to the enemy while oblivious to what goes on around them. The usual simpering twit spamming the enemy hangar-shield with an AA gun or hitting their defguns with NO effect whatsoever, underscoring a futility similar to teaching monkeys how to program in C++

The first time you think: "OK, it happens..maybe they were slow to react..but next time!".

The second time and the third time, as you see the enemy steal the win from under us, you can't help but wonder if the people on your "team" are so deeply intellectually challenged that they should be on some form of medication. Drooling infants with an obsessive gleam in their eyes, frantically running around in their own pathetic little universe, utterly oblivious to what this game is about...

It then becomes very clear why officers originally were given sidearms - the pistol was intended to shoot deserters and soldier who are criminally negligent in their duties to the pouint of endangering their fellow soldiers or the mission because of it.

The only solace I can find in this, is imagining the entire team lined up, on their knees - blindfolded. Walking behind them and putting them out of their misery one by one - pressing the steel barrel against the back of their heads, telling them that "this is too good for people such as you" just before hearing the sharp crack of a 9mm, signalling their demise and a victory for justice, freedom and everything that is good in this world.

It was Nietsche who said "Against stupidity, even the gods fight in vain" and that about sums it up.

I really dont see the need to make a long story when I can just quote yours! It sums up my feelings perfectly. Minus the exaggerating comment. It really is this bad. Teamplay is a failed experiment. Oh btw, age is not a factor in this. I have friends of 30+ age that are totally oblivious when they play this game. I sometimes wonder if their brain automatically switches off during the BF2142 loading screen.

1. Lag in Titan Mode when the titans get close together and people starting spamming the shields with AA fire.
2. Getting a CTD right after I click 'Join Game'. Whenever I CTD it happens here.
3. Getting disconnected from servers in the middle of a good round. Seems to be happening a lot in recent days. Last night I had 17 kills, mostly explosives, before either team's Titan shield even went down. I was set up to have a huge round once our shield went down. "Your connection to the server has been lost."
4. The Zeller scope being all pink/red unless you're on high detail.
5. Having your Titan shield go down, and no one on your team is defending the Titan. You suicide to go help just in time to see that the enemy has taken all four consoles and is blowing the core.

3. People using the plane guns to shoot at tanks/walkers etc when its obviously making no damage. Ive lost count the ammount of times the ememy has been driving away from a silo, only for some fool in the plane im flying to give our position away.

4. People voting on the votekicks without even asking what its for, some people just see the kick vote and then vote yes for the sake of it. I knifed somebody and i dont think he/she was too chuffed, put a vote against me and atleast 10 people voted yes - thanks lol

5. People not doing their job, resuppling/healing

6. People more interested in their own points/game, rather than playing as a team for the win.

I actually did this for a map (once shields were down, obviously) last night. My discoveries:

1. Yes, it is as easy as it looks. Maybe even easier.

2. No, there is no satisfaction (at least I couldn't sense any).

3. That Explosives pin is pretty easy to get.

4. The guys from [HEL] are very chill. I blew a few of their members up several times in a very short span, and I sort of figured I was going to get kicked. (I didn't even get scolded).

5. I don't think there's a better way to defend an exposed titan. It may be annoying as heck, but I'd definitely assign a couple people to this task in a competative match. However, it really sucks for pub play.

Then next round when you think you will have the advantage / uncappable you get switched back to other team so you can experience it all over again.

2) when you play as commander and your team is about to win.......Connection has a problem....connection to the server has been lost....log back in....you were moved to the other team. (sweet x2 for the win score gone bye bye)

uncappable base campers, yes, you, you lack any form of skill, or testes, especially in a walker, you should get your stats wiped, and get an IP ban for grossly bad sportsmanship, its a game, let people have fun. and if i had a server of my own, i would insta-ban anyone who did it, not feel guilty, and laugh. hell if i could, id IP ban peoples accounts for it, i hate it that much.

errrr, getting stuck on the grossly weaker team, yeah, thats annoying, mostly because a bad team generally means a bad score for all on said team, since the game requries heaps of teamwork. this also relates to that inane breed of stupidiity that people have been mentioning.its rare, but it happens. where we have 1 squad of 2 clannies, and the other teams got 2 full squads of clannies, plus 2 squads of normal people.

lastly, prolly that annoying explosion haze effect, cause of my weak machine, it litterally kills my FPS, and forces me to sit in a corner and wait for it to stop, since i cant aim with that kind of lag.

Things like me spamming "hey guys I have a beacon up near outpost join my squad and lets take it!" and similar messages (berlin, on pac). 1 guy joins my squad I drop a beacon on the snow ridge and we under up eventually taking the outpost when there is like 30 tickets left and the game is to far gone.
Things like that happen WAY to often, also the lack of people working together or just using voip (when I know they damn well have it).

One thing I really wish they had was a team wide voip channel. Which would be easily mutable/unmutable. Since there is basicly no good way to communicate with your team.
