Seriously, it sucks. It takes to long to load and is generally really slow to respond to clicks and stuff.
Especially annoying when you accidently hit escape and get the server list.

Yeah, the Battlefield menu system has pretty much always sucked. I'm guessing the president of DiCE's son or daughter is the coder, because anyone else would have gotten canned a LONG time ago.

I don't want fancy sound effects or graphics or animations, I just want an quick-n-easy menu that can be brought up and put down as soon as you hit the escape keys. :(

Menus isn't that bad if you ask me. Maybe getting into the menu from a game is a little bit slow.

The menus have a lot of problems, really.
- The multiplayer menu always opens to the standard server select screen, you can't set it to open in advanced.
- You can't save advanced preferences. Ideally you'd be able to save a few preference sets and make one the default.
- Often the first character you enter into the advanced option fields does not register.
- When you filter for conquest servers and come back to the menu later (say, leave a game), the field will then turn itself to conquest co-op.
- The server lists always start populating every time you open the page, you really should have to initiate the search, it's annoying to have to cancel it all the time.
- The favourite servers do (or did) not update when you refresh.
- Whenever you leave the server menu (say, trying to join a game that fills right before you do) the list has to be repopulated again, when it should simply refresh or do nothing ideally.
- There's no autojoin option, nor any way to refresh the server in its properties screen.
I could go on, but I wont. It's not that bad for a game I guess though. I'm just used to working with software where I can abuse people until they update it to my satisfaction either in person or on the phone, so I'm spoiled. :P

Not as bad as bf2 but still not that great. Especially when pressing escape accidently in game, has gotten me killed quite a few times.
