i've just been going over some of the old BF2 Vids, and reflecting (yes I said reflecting) on how great some of the music was by some of the film-makers. Snoken introduced me to Kent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oLawic2jTU and Jose Gonzalez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj5bAzvwlBk&mode=related&search= , and there have been countless other tunes I've "youtubed" to find.
I'm looking forward to some new videos featuring some real unique music.
and a note to any of those film-makers, please forgo "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor". I like the song, but every 733t gamer includes that in his crappy 3 minute video of every kill he's ever made.
anyone else heard new/unique tunes in BF related vids?

I have a handful of tunes I'd like to use if I ever get it together and do a vid.
Some NIN, some TOOL, some Apoctalyptica... a handful of odd ball remixes 'n assorted funky tracks.
The one vid I sorta made for BF2 (I didn't finish because my comp at the time really sucked and I wasn't able to talk anyone into doing some good renders) featured a noisy/nasty Nine Inch Nails remix of... ah, screw it... here's the link (you'll know the tune):

BTW, every vid maker should be sure to include credits for the music they use. It's good for the artists and fans that might like what they hear.

No offence, but...
:dead:
Please... for the love of god... let society become mature enough to understand that the vast majority of hip hop is culturally destructive and robs minds of the chance to become useful in some way.
Please note: I did say most. There's some damned good hip hop out there, but most of the fans seem to only enjoy the ultra-commercialized delusion that drugs, sex, and violence are keys to becoming a success as a human being and that being a pop icon is the only way to validate your existence.
I have no idea where the above came from.
A true rant.
Take it or flame it.

oh yea, non taken...I understand...could write the differences of the commercialized stuff vs whatever in a whole report but I'm too lazy right now...
But just for the topic...I just want someone to make a creative BF video using some kind hip-hop...
I mean I know I used a Hip Hop track for my Iraq tour video and worked out pretty well as far as how it related... :)

Metallica and Rob Zombie songs seem to get things done.
Or you could be completely unpredictable and instead of going for the metal or many rock variants you can choose something ocmpletely random. Some random techno? There are many techno songs on my mp3 player so if you do decide to choose some random techno songs you can ask me for some suggestions.

'Cornflake Girl' by Tori Amos would be an original song to have a gaming movie to...

Get some Ozzy or Black Sabbath (The War Pigs song would make an amazing BF:V video) into a vid. That'd rock.
I also agree with the OP about the Tool tracks. Amazing band. Saw them in concert last November.
You could follow in the steps of Jackass and put CKY tracks into the stunt movies :D
Fear Factory would be nice too.
But nothing beats the ultimate best band of all time: Slayer! \m/:evil:\m/

Can someone say from who this song is? It's very relaxing, with a little sad text.

Don't mind the stunts, maybe you recognise the tune.

id like to see this song from Royksopp - "Remind Me"
its from the Geico Caveman commercial... the one where he's on the people mover in the airport and sees the poster on the wall.
I'm seeing it in a "noob-crashing-a-transport-full-of-teammates" sort of thing... or maybe some aerial pod ballet.

Benny Hill theme. Adds laughter and joy to any scene - try playing it during that scene in Titanic where he dies. HILARIOUS.
