Conquest Commnader Score 30+ ???

I have had over 30, last game was 41 commander score, but still no medal,
any ideas??

Are you thinking of the Distinguished Service Medal?
Because that is a Team Score of 30, not a commander score.

30 points before they are doubled.

Yes, before the games end you have to get 30 points. It's very hard if the game is one sided or when the teams are full of newbies.

I am trying to get this badge for ages. I play on Fall of Berlin only, where the EU always wins! (Good place for getting your WL ratio up) but i never seem to get 30 points before they are doubled. And even my whole team was pro.

You must play on a really sucky server! How does the EU always win? They are so predictable and its so easy to get around them.

Good way to get 30 commander points in conquest is to go onto a large map with few players in. e.g. a 64player map with < 20 players, this way the round lasts quite a while. That's how I got mine.

Make sure you issue commands to squads when they are about to do something you hadn;t ask. i.e. issue an attack order to the silo/flag they are about to take and give them a UAV or zoom in to spot. Do this a few times and they trust you and will follow orders and those points roll in.

I got my bronze at Cerbere and was lucky enough to have a good squad defending the main base thus ensuring I stayed alive and artying.

Well, it's not sucky. It's a very professional server. It's i3d.net Berlin Only server. And really, all of the times i have been there (because it's always full) EU won. APC base raping + walker = ticket bleed.
PAC never even gets one flag!

But i would love to see a server where PAC would win. Most of the time, the commander places the UAV on a spot where it can spot everyone, because the map is so thin. So nobody can get around stealthly.

I just order everybody to defend the Crossroads flag and i get tons of Commander bonuses, but i still don't get my command badge.

That's because Commander Bonus only adds Career Points, not the Score for the round, which is what the badge requires.

Yeah, i know. But Buttoneer sayed it would help the squad get more points, but the SLS points also only add to Career.

I just can't seem to get my teams average to 30, thus getting me a badge. :p

From an excellent thread elsewhere about points:

Commander
Commanders score differently than regular players.
When a player on their team scores, the get 1/x points, where x is = numbers of players on his/her team.
Commander bonus: Heal/resupply/repair team with supply boxes : 1 (this is the bit that doesn't appear until the end of the round)

So basically, if you help your squads to help themselves, you help yourself. It relies on you giving the squads all the information they need to keep the enemy suppressed, and it relies on the squad being pretty good anyway.
