It's determined by the people at EA/DICE and is related to your weekly performance in online games. Nobody really knows EXACTLY what criteria you need to meet to get the higher ranks.

You cant ask for the rank, at the end of the month they put the names in a hat and choose the Supreme commander and then the 50 other names get to rank up for the month.

Lambert is a very easy weapon to use and owns in CQC, but im afraid my Baur will destroy you :D

Well, I would say to just play the game and don't worry about stats, but it's kinda obvious that the stats are the biggest part of the game for you.

Get every single badge / medal / pin / ribbon?

Get the highest number of kills for a given weapon?

Do something else until Northern Strike comes out?

But do you not agree in some ways Dem? I dont want to start and argument i just want to know. Dont you think that instead of taking features away from us that should have been their anyway, you should be implementing them for us?

As i said i dont want and argument as i myself am a programmer but no where near the same skill level as yourself and so i know how long it can take to program these sorts of things.

so demize how does it work than.....i would like to have a rank to achieve!, i know i still have some badges and ribbons etc to collect..but a rank is a nice thing to head for.:D

If you periodically check the stats of GOUF and ArkkAngel you will notice they both somehow exploit the awards glitch where you get the same badges and ribbons you already earned. So perhaps it has something to do with that.

Do a search. The criteria for the highest ranks has been posted many times. It has to do with points earned during the measured period. It's based on Global points, not career points, so earning awards again won't affect your chance for the promotion.
