take 3 Assault rockets to the HEAD, outside of the 20' null radius, and live? Yeah my "hit" indicator lit up all three times. Even if I missed a direct hit, the splash damage from those is more than enough to kill a man up in the close-quarters of the titan vent.

One more thing, how does someone take shrapnel for 3 grenades in a titan air vent and live?

It was one of those *617* guys, and I was going to ask him just that on the next round but he logged off. So, if any of you *617* guys read this, go ahead and answer me that. I'm curious.

And sometimes direct body shots seem to get absorbed (specially from PK's).

You can get the hit indicator and only do 5 or 6 points of damage. If they were literally exploding on their head that is impossible, but if you can't be certain of where they detonated this is likely what happened.

No lag. And like I said, even if I missed his head, he was in a vent and splash damage should have finished him off. Not to mention the three nades my team mate chucked up there.

Behind an IPS Shield?

Cos Rockets dont bounce, surviving 3 aint a problem when behind a shield.
And grenades are ineffective against a shield, unless you get the nade behind him/her.

No shield. Standing in the vent right before the little cubby hole window, I was on the lower floor in the opposite door that leads to the rear deck. Standing, in plain view, not ducking, not laying behind a shield. Had an assault kit I'll give him that, but there's no way a medic pack can replenish your health that quick.

I still want an explanation that fits... If anyone can come up with one then I'll accept it...

It's obvious you just want someone to say they were hacking for you. Crap happens. The game didn't reflect what you thought you saw. Suck it up and keep playing. I am 99.9% certain the people you are accusing weren't hacking. There are wall hacks and IFF hacks out there, but I have never heard of a god mode invulnerability hack for 2142. You're dreaming.

And to answer your question a different way, I've survived being hit by all three rockets. Obviously not directly, and the splash almost took me down, but I've done it. And I also know that I've had people survive my rockets even when all three indicators light up.

To the OP - you'll find that the *617* clan is actually DICE guys or EA guys or their bestest friends and they all have a special developers God mode which allows them to run around pwning j00 and laughing into their mikes at each other when they imagine your 'WTF???!!!' expression.

I cant believe with all the fur flying over this, nobody has mentioned the possibility of the medic. player involved may have been a medic, walking around as most medics do, not healing their teammates but using the medic bag as a repair-on-the-fly tool, or just at their feet. Regardless, thats also a possibility. Just a thought. Upon reflection, enemy may also have heavy armor on.
Hack? I doubt it. Dont get me wrong, sometimes the THOUGHT goes through my head..but thats just the ride of the game rushing through you after you die, which, no matter who you are, does and will happen. I hd a problem when i was flying a transport... i saw a enemy running around, so i landed 20m away from him , jumped in the side-turret, and started shooting as hell. The guy shaked as if he was hit, and the hit indicator flashed all time, but he didn't die... so I flew away thinkin' "WTF!?!!1!?"

the hit indicator only tells you that you did damage. If they are a sufficent range away from the blast, they may take very minimal damage.

The grenade in vent is not uncommon at all. If they are near the back post, they may only lose 30hp from the three grenades.

What Deesies said is right, the grenade does insignificant damage when the person is taking cover (unless you lob it behind him ^^)
