EA link BF 2142 patch - where is the file?

Hi all, does anyone know where EA link is storing the 1.20 patch?
I alway keep a backup of the patches for the games, but I can't find the file this time for 1.20
Anyone know which directory I can find it under?

Log into EA link and just click the patches tab on the left, should have it listed there right at the top, did for me at least. Note its not in "my patches" until you've downloaded it once.

Yeah thats fine, I've already downloaded and installed it through EA link. But what I want is the file. I can find it listed in the EA link software. But I actually want to find the file on my hard drive to backup.
Can't find it in the EA link directory where patches used to be.
Anyone able to help??

Does it not come up in a simple search for the filename? I would expect it to be stored under EAlink in 'my programs' much like Steam works. But then again, Steam works...

Take a look in this directory:

C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Link\cache

In there is a folder with a long convoluted name. All my EA Link downloads are in that folder.
