i have over 600 points which is the global requirement, but i've tried and tried and tried and tried and i still can't get 30 spawn.

I'm sure i have over 30, i nicely ask people to use the beacon, even my clan mates.

Any ideas?

1. Get a full squad of people.

Try real hard to be Squad 1. Most people join Squad 1. Why? Because it's the first squad. You're most likely to have a full squad if you're squad 1.

2. Attack a titan that has many defenders.

This shouldn't be too hard to find, especially since we now have 64-man Titan servers.

3. Plant your beacon on the Titan.

Try to plant it in sneaky places so it doesn't get blown up a lot. Many people like to put it in the smokestack-like-thingy on the top of the titan (the one closer to the back deck). Sometimes it gets found there. An even sneakier place is to put it is inside the titan. I HATE to divulge this secret, but I like to place mine next to destroyed console 1 or 2. People can still pod onto the titan and once the console is blown not too many people bother to venture into that area anymore, so it's not found that often.

4. Beg your squad-mates to use your beacon.

Most people know the pain associated with getting tough badges so they help out when they can. But don't be too insistent on it, because that's annoying. If you know these people well, bribery works wonders.

5. Hope that your teammates die a lot.

Again, your team-mates may help out a bit here by attacking in a rather foolish manner, throwing caution to the wind. It's kind of therapeutic, telling yourself, "Well, sure, I've died 15 times in the past three minutes, but I don't suck! I'm just helping out my squad leader!"

Your own spawns do not count towards this magic number, by the way.

get in a 24/7 gibraltar/berlin server, be the first person in the server to start a squad. Usually people will join your squad pretty quickly but if not, keep inviting people.

When you have enough, place the spawn beacon as far forward as you can without putting the beacon or spawners in danger and just let the high death count of these maps add to your beacon spawns.

You could also get on a titan server, use it all round and when you're attacking the titan, just put it on the roof :)

Well, if you get the NS unlock for the upgraded squad beacon, your squad would be insane not to take advantage of the 10 second respawn time, especially on titans or city maps. Longer rounds facillitate more spawns. On the other hand, they also have to die in order to spawn, so if you run with a l33t clan you may not get 30 spawns...;-)

It shouldn't be an issue though. With a 4-5 person squad, you are talking about 7-8 deaths per person in a round. Also, move the beacon to strategic places relative to the action.

I got mine inadvertently (as in I completely forgot i needed it) when I was playing titan. I had a full squad and just kept chucking it on their titan as they were defending quite heavily, so the round took some time and I got plenty of spawns.

Play on a half empty titan server where it will be a long battle. Drop your beacon on the titan and you should be good

I didnt get it that way. But place it where they like it.
