10 Road kills

Hey ppl,

I tried to get those 10 road kills for the badge a few times now, because the 500 bonus is really lovely.

i tried on suez canal a few times now, but i lost count on how many times i had 8 or 9 road kills.

Any tips on how you guys got it ?

Go to cerbere Landing and go on EU and go on very far base and take the FAV there, go down the hill and you could probably get 10 road kills in one go.

Just watched the knife instructional video! That would be an easy 10 road kills.

This is not the easiest way, but I actually got mine by accident while in a gunship! Basically, if you blow up something and people get killed standing near it, it is considered a road kill for some reason. I unintentionally got 10+ road kills in the normal course of gunship attacks.

Other than that, I would think Tunis Harbor 64-player would be a good place to get it. Lots of FAVs and lots of people on foot.

Yeah, and you would rack up a lot of TKs driving through the swarm. Not to mention the kick from the admin there for using vehicles. :laugh:

EU Cerbere landing sounds like a good idea. but if i recall correctly theres only 1 fav there. anyway tahnx, gonna give it a try 2morrow :D

Don't you get a road kill if you blow up the veichle when their out and close enough to die?

Any map with the Nekomata, people never expect you to run them over with it. How i got mine, forget what map though.

Only problem with the Cerbere Landing idea is that you may get an FAV that respawns, but they get a walker!!

i got mine on a 24/7 suez canal Conquest, FAV O_o, always someone trying to run flag to flag just waiting to kiss a bumper

FAV on suez titan, do not do anything except drive around. Also don't use boost until you see your target. Keep going back and forth between silos (especially your sides silos, as enemys will be capping).

Yeah you do. I got my Crew Service Ribbon in a Walker on Suez[Titan] from destroying other vehicles (well, where was 1 Mecha-Teabag aswell ^_^ )

I got mine on Belgrade, where that staute is, where there mech spawns, sorry, not familiar with that map, but that's how I got my Wheels of Hazard pin (almost same amount kills).

Well it is called Statue for an obvious reason. :D

And the Wheels of Hazard is 5 roadkills. I think I haev only gotten a single one of those by running people over. The rest have come from killing people with exploding vehicles... Generally tanks and APCs.

Its 50 points. Go Gibralter as the defending team. Wait for some yahoo to take a jeep to try and back cap a flag. Steal it from him, repair it, then head for their teams main. Since they wont have any mines set up and most of their team will be in the open, just starting doing donuts and ramming people. Rack up 10 kills quick and easy.

That's not a bad idea, actually...

What I want to know is, why on Earth does DICE like using roadkills for so many awards, when there are more approporiate game mechanics already available that make a lot more sense? :confused: For example, the transport service badges and ribbon could use driver ability assist points, which IMO has a lot more to do with "crew service" then jacking a jeep and playing "Grand Theft FAV: Carebear Landing" for a round. WTF! You think any troops in Iraq are sitting around waiting for a jeep to show up so they can go practice their vehicular homicide skills? :rolleyes: Gaah!

Well, it wasn't me that mentioned it, but the Silver badge is 10 roadkills as far as I remember. And silver is 500 points.

LOL. I got mine on Cerbere but your strategy to get it is the funniest I've read so far. Especially since they probably less expect it because the EU don't have any FAV in this map, if I remember correctly :laugh:

I tried the Cerebel Landing one and Tunis harbor. NO Luck. I got wheels of hazard but I always stop at around 4 to go coz people start humping the wall and stay after the "barrair" on streets!! FFS any other ideas :(? Must get this ribbon (along with the 55 teamwork points one)

If you play on Cerbere, as EU that is, run around the PAC base and you sure can get a few just there. Be sure to play on a high-populated server. It's not the most gratifying ribbon to get, but it's one of the funniest :cool:

Seriously......pick a Titan map....48 man....find a FAV and drive around until you run over 10 people.....if you can't do it by the end of the round there is something wrong....

I tried on EU side running in base of PAC over running. but people started spawnning as engineer and filled the base with motion mines.

Not to mention kick for "base raping"

I helped a guy get his on Cerbere Landing by sitting in the back of a FAV constantly repairing it as he tore through the PAC uncap. It was 100% hilarious, I was having trouble holding the trigger down, I was laughing that hard. He must have got 15+ kills that way before somebody got wise and threw some RDX down and blew us up.

You don't always see a lot of people running around outside vehicules on maps like Suez or Minsk. There are a a few around silos, but they can easily take cover...

You might not see them first pass ...but keep zooming around the map ...I got mine on Suez....it can be done.

Does it count as a road kill for those weird times when say you left some mines somewhere *motion or apms* started driving around, someone is killed by the mine yet it says you illed them with the current vehicle your in?
