Normally those 'Real life BF' movies never did anything for me, but for some reason that one was hilarious, and I don't know how I missed that one the first time. :laugh:

The acting needs work but it gets the message across.

:laugh: Yeah, that was a good one, too! I'd have to think that anyone who's played Warlord post-claymore patch can relate. :D

It seems like the developers addressed almost all the issues in this video (engineer defusers, RDX detonation, friendly fire -- at least, before the patch).
I wonder if this had ANY bearing on those decisions. Probably not, though.

i remember this from BF2... i loved the accuracy boost they gave to the sniper rifles, but when they fixed the AT mines they created these hell spawn in the process. Keep in mind back then you couldn't blow them up (anymore), couldn't crouch by them, and the only time you saw them was the split-second required to say "Oh **-"

The acting needs work but it gets the message across.
I find that is half the charm since such commercials have almost as bad acting.

I can't even make it all the way through those vids...
About half way through, I inevitably get an almost irresistable urge to put a power drill to my head.

i skipped BF2, but i can imagine how frustrating it can be not being able to crouch around em!

The crouch, RDX, and Zeller were nice additions to fix the issue. However with the weapon being available to spec ops players with an automatic weapon, the issue is 100 fold now and those small things that helped fall far short of what is needed to balance the issue.
Allow any players handweapons from pistols to the rifles to take out the APM's. This way, players would have to be smart when placing them. If they just toss them out in the open, a player will disarm them. But if they are smart and hide them in areas players wont see then they will EARN that kill.
FF =On option again.
FF = On required
Friendly sets them off but does no damage.
reduce detection radius
reduce damage.

In BF2 it was not as big of an issue because only the sniper had them.

There are some parts of it that are... strangely funny... Like the medic... I think it's just because of how absolutely true it is. I'm glad for obsessive medics though. I actually wish there were more of them. =[
