Sniper Decoy

Can anyone tell me exactly what the Sniper Decoy does? :) It's a bit vague..

It removes your red dot from the minimap and places it on the decoy within 60m radius of it.
You should use search. There are lots of topics about it in the NS discussion.

I tell you its effective. even vs a support with camo net bat I deployed ghost and when on other side passing in front of him. I go oh crap but instead of shooting me he started going for ghost. apparntly he was squad leader and 2 spawned on him all trhying to find me around"the ghost". 3 easy kills hhaa
