Well seeing DICE members offering advice and some support on here, I would like to know something.
Is the hit detection going to improve? I hate when you are being stealthy, you sneak up on a player, stab hear it hit and it does nothing. I have even done it 2 or 3 times before it will register. Thats only for the players that isn't paying attention, cause most will hear the first one and your down. Which is fine, kudos for them for listing.
I have even sneaked behind a player and waited a second or two and stab! and guess what, it doesn't hit.
It doesn't matter if I have a ping of 10 or 100 it still happens.
I remember in the BF2 days, either around patch 1.12 or patch 1.2 the hit detection was great. It would actually register on the first or second time. Then a patch came out and its been shady ever since. Its bad enough the animation is slow compared to the other BF series, but the off detection is just to much with the slow animation.
Before others come in and chime their opinions on my thread, I do know where to hit on a player (19:1 :D ). Its not like i am trying to knife them in their toe or at 15m away. I have adapted to the hit detection, but I would just like to see it improve some.
