Increased stamina recovery and increased resiliance to falling damage...
Are they working properly? Didn't notice any increase in stamina recovery and I took 6 points of damage when I walked off a kerb!!!
Seriously, are these things broken, or is the description a lie?
Anyone know?

It's all propaganda to get you to buy their new brand of footwear.
The biggest difference to stamina is noticed when you're wearing light armour, it makes quite the difference then. With heavy armour equipped the difference is like 1/4 the difference either of the stamina unlocks made. No i dont know those numbers for a fact, i'm just basing it on my experiences.

What Alaz said is right, the stamina recovery works with light armour, and the fall damage seemed fine in the beta... once again, I have no idea what they did in that 19MB patch I had to download...

After some testing, here are the numbers:
Fall Damage - Tested by walking off the tank & apc hangars on sidi:
35 damage without boots vs. 25 damage with boots - no change between light and heavy armor
Sprint recovery:
Tested by sprinting until bar was exhausted and timed the recharge from just standing
without boots - 16s for heavy and 11s for light
with boots - 13s for heavy and 9s for light
So the boots give ~18% increase in sprint recovery regardless of armor type

hmm, very efficient and nicely presented.
I think I shall get moon boots and the new active camo and with light armour I think I would be able to run across the whole damn map cloaked.

Throw the ghost in there and you can cloak without the fear of a support seeing you on the netbat, and the UAV can't see you for 60 meters.

current testing(as in the last week on normal ranked servers) shows that they are very useful if you wear light armour.. but do nothing for falling damage.

Cheers for the tests x-paladin. Not as effective as I thought they would be, but again, just enough to give you an edge when needed.
I really thought it might negate damage altogether from small jumps where there's not enough time to activate the 'chute...
In fact, in fact....
Nay, I demand a change. Make these boots negate all damage on drops where there's not enough time to deploy the 'chute, otherwise the damage mitigation is a bit, well, **** and pointless isn't it?

I have noticed that when I jump down in the front of the titan hangar to go down stairs, he doesn't scream like he broke both his legs. LMAO
I don't think it helps when I jump off 2nd story roofs though.
I wonder if it helps when sneaking up on somebody? I have noticed lately that I can run up behind people w/o them turning around on me. Hmmmm?
It may just be my imagination. Or maybe the fact that many people have their sound off! lol
