Is it possible to disable or remove vehicles from maps on a server?

iirc, No, not on 2142. The infantry only option was axed in 2142.

And it should stay that way. 2142 is already an infrantry based game. Almost every class except the assault class has a way of obliterating vehicle, or disabling them with their held weapons.

Did I ask for your opinion? I was simply asking how to remove vehicles, plenty of other threads to ***** about that, Yezo.

I think you can do it with the GameObjects.con and remove the eu_fav etc. in the fields. But you should ask it in the Modding section. I think they can help you out there, because they have experience with it. ( They also edited NS vehicles into vannilla maps )

Basically, you need to make a mod, and either remove the vehicles from the Gameplayobjects, or you can just axe the entire Vehicles folder(it has no other repercussions, I accidentally did it once). Once you finish the mod, you need to send it out to all who wish to play it, and you can set up a server. Just a note: It will not and cannot ever be ranked...

There are server mods for it, so the clients DO NOT need a mod.

jesus christ mutley way to overreact, dont go homocidal just becase he says he thinks it should stay like that hes not saying you wanting to have a infantry only server is bad hes saying that EA shouldnt allow it to be infantry only
