Operation Snowflake Ribbon bugged

The IASR requirements for the Operation Snowflake Ribbon and the Wheels of Hazard Pin are the same; 5 roadkills. Stands to reason if you get the ribbon then the pin would come with it, but it doesn't.

I say we drop the 5 roadkill requirement for the ribbion.

We already have a Goliath Ribbion, Let's call this one a speeder ribbion with 2 hours service global and 40 kills.

There is an over-abundance of roadkill related awards in the game. I personally dont have any because I dont like to run over my teammates trying to get roadkills.

I do have all the other 9 possible awards in NS and kept this ribbion's unlock the un-necessary engineer SMG Clip increase while getting all the others. The unlock would be nice if I did get this ribbion but very rarely live long enough as an engineer to go through 4 clips.

hahahahaha, i skipped the radar grenade since this is the last ribbon i need. why would a medic ever use this unlock?

All the top level unlocks are useless as they can be fied unlocked. Go for the vanilla unlocks first.

Engineer SMG unlock gives you more bullets per clip, not more clips. With unlock, EU SMG has 35 bullets per clip and PAC has 40. :cool:

I have to say this award really encourages bad behavior, I mean who wants a gunner when they might steal your roadkill, and getting 5 is harder than it sounds with all the motion mines everywhere.

I have a feeling that all of these awards are dampening the goodness of NS. It's really hard to find a team that's actually focused on winning. Most of them are trying to run people over with the speeder or trying to rack up time in the goliath.

Truth be told, I too am one of these fools at least part of the time. When I'm not playing with my friends, I strictly work towards the awards. I just want my 10 unlocks so I can go and play the right way again. 2 more awards and then I'm done.

And yes, I got the speeder ribbon last night, as well as the wheels of hazard pin, but the ribbon showed up on the screen and the wheels of hazard pin did not, but at the end of the round it showed me both.

I love that TV missile in the speeder. Good fun.

I got the Ribbon, but it didn't say I got the Pin. When the Round ended it had the Pin listed.

SMG extra ammo unlock, unholy coolness. I just got Engi Gold thank you!

uhm, the 'engineer clip' unlock doesn't give you an extra clip, it adds extra bullets to your clip! you go from 30 to 40 bullets per clip. this was the first unlock I got with the NS awards!! it's invaluable if you're engi.

I got the Award ribbion for the 5 Road kills. It was easy enough to get that speeder into one of the bases deemed a defensive position with walls where the engineers are hiding. Hammer a bunch into the wall.. squish, squish etc and BOOM award.

Now that I got all the unlocks how about another 9.99 booster so that we can keep playing for rewards>??
