As all who have plaed ns know there is no descriptions or map names nothing, but why? likie 2 minuets of work to make a game mode descripton or put the names on the map correctl. it jsut really bugs me

It works fine for me...maybe the install was not quite right ;)

well even in the patch this happened no description but that was normal because everyone has that

You have to update your localization mod genius, if you have the normal one you will get those messeges in game.

are using Dan's Localization File (http://www.totalbf2142.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6526) by any chance? then patching to 1.20 failed (silently) on the strings.csv. Just download and copy in the new file (http://www.totalbf2142.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19665) and you are good.

.. its not always EAs fault ... ;)

NS just looks like another 2142
the unlocks suck the uniforms are ok and the only new things are two vehicles.

Renamed thread appropriately.

Plain and simple, you were using a custom localization file that was not updated properly during patching to v1.20.

This is YOUR fault, not EA/DICE's.

Download the original v1.20 or the modded v1.20 localization file from the threads mentioned here and you're good to go.

Next time...THINK before posting ;)

No i know that the guns and things are the problem but the map, how do you fix that? or my weapon discriptions

Rogelead, and anyone else who reads this or is having problems with names and stuff not showing up in NS. Just like Drevor said a few posts ago. If you have modified your localization file on your own, installed a modified localization file, or changed yours to a read only file it wil not update when you install NS. Please go to this thread (http://www.totalbf2142.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19665) and download either the updated localization file or the original and copy it to your "C:/Program Files/ Electronic Arts/ Battlfield 2142/ mods /bf2142/ locaiztion" folder and everything will work fine.

I had the same problem, It was fixed with the new version.
