Hi. this is a simple thread. post your favourite unlock/weapon up and say why its your favourite and if you want, whats bad about it. I'll go first:

RDX DemoPak: simple reason. explosions are good. RDX are explosives. therefore, RDX are fab! :D

IDS-1

For defending the Titan, flags, and silos, it's the most useful unlock.

Permanent enemy tracking means you can sit hidden away from the area until the enemies approach, and know exactly how and where to hit them.

The IDS does kick an excessive amount of a$$, and gets my vote as the best... but my favorite are still the motion mines... those soccer balls of doom always put smiles on my face.

Well, i haven't unlocked a whole lot yet. My favs of the unlocks i do have are definitely the Baur, PK Rockets, the Lambert, and RDX.

I'd have to say Baur. I'm better with my Voss (I think anyway), but that thing is too damn cool and useful even if I haven't nailed her down yet.

A close second is RDX. **** is both fun, and a huge point grabber on your titan.

Grenades. Nothing surpasses the usefulness of these handy little thrown explosives.

2nd would be all the sprint unlocks, just because wherever your stand, you could be standing in a better position, with more cover, and get there faster, if you have the sprint unlocks.

APM mines. whenever I play on titan servers, the opposing team hides outside the titan corridors in fear of my APMs. (whenever i kill them, I notice im swimming in they're pee)

QFT. The clark is the weapon that introduced a whole new world of fun and excitment to my game. Its has been my best weapon since i unlocked it and after 267 hours it still is. :D

Clark, for sure. I haven't unlocked it yet, however I field upgraded it once. Beautiful! Got me a Gold Star and a Shotgun Pin. ;) Even at long range it will incapacitate.

WTF is an IDS-1? I havent unlocked much sonce I get CTD (see bf2142 support).

But out of unlocks I've just picked up from dead guys I would say BUAR-HAR + PR rockets = üb3r best! :D

I can get anywhere from .50 to 3.00 for a noob, depending on the condition.

Clark FTW. It's my CQC go-to weapon of choice. Since I've been using it almost exclusively on INF maps like Cerebere and Camp G, my K/D has finally surpassed 1:1; now it's not uncommon for me to get 3:1 in any given match. Fear my boomstick!

I can't beleive that the Ganz hasen't been mentioned, this is my favorite weapon, just pepper ennemy troops and you'll get a insane ammount of kills, even at long range.

That thing is my friend, and I have many hours with that thing... One of the few things that can make you feel like you are truly affecting the enemy's ability to move about.

My favorite unlock is probaly the RDX cause you can use it everywhere;
Blowing up enemy tanks, detonate on enemy activity, Destroy tactical stuff.

and second would be the Lambert Carbine, cause you can shoot 30m+ with a cofidence in hitting (and i have very bad grapich card). and it is also good close combat:D

I've said it before and I'll say it again - for a pure sniper, anything the Zeller can do, the stock rifles can do better. The Zeller's only advantage is its explosive detonation feature. That is it. Stock rifles have larger clips, wider scopes, less tunnel vision potential, kill in the same one headshot, quieter muzzles, dimmer muzzle flashes and on average quicker reload times.

If you want to blow up mines, get a Zeller, but realize that your weapon is loud, bright, obnoxious and easily traceable. If you want to be a sniper in the classic tradition, get a Park or a Morretti.

Oh, and the Baur is my favorite unlock.

PK rockets own all. Shoot at a guy madly with a spray of bullets just to get him to run behind cover where he is safe, and then throw a couple rocket explosions on top of him. Once you know how to properly use the airburst mode these things are just downright evil.

Pk-47 AR Rockets hands down. Totally nullifies the use of taking cover if you know how to use it, which, thank goodness, only a few people know :D.

Not only that, but its firing sound makes it seem like a damn truck just slammed into a brick wall.

Handsdown the pilum, i love the smell of burning armor in the morning you know.

Once you get good with it it can be damn effective, think i once hit a 150-200m shot with it. It was an APC that was driving away from me, aimed at the topof the apc and shot....thought i missed and started running away back to the fight at one of the silos then said "you killed XXXXX" and i was like, freakin sweet!!! :D

only downfall is that if they move even slightly and you miss that vital spot then they have that extra shot to try to find you.

But one of my favorite feelings with a unlock is when you shoot down a gunship with a SAAW (just got it not long ago) its such a great feeling to see the gunship fly over your head, you turn around quick, shoot, hold, then you killed *******......so good

2. Camo upgrade+Ghost -> BEST at core attack. I assaulted the titan core and killed 4 ppl defending it. The only help I got was a smoke grenade in the entrance ;)
3. And of course the PDS-1+IDS-1 -> Two on the gunship, get in, You're a fast UAV killing people:D (You must have a gunner of course)

PK-74 Rockets. Those things are awesome. Even better if you are up in one of those storage tanks or just really high up and able to rain down rockety death everywhere. I've been able to single handedly hold silos this way. Defib comes in 2nd and probably the 4x scope comes in 3rd when I feel like being a loner and sniping people.
