Solo a Goliath with the Engy!

Well, after being labeled a hacker many times because I could single-handedly take down a Goliath, I'm going to post how I do it here!

Things you'll need:

Engineer Kit
- Any Main Weapon of your choice.
- Any SL item of your choice.
- Motion Mines
- Motion Mine Baits

Steps:
1) Find out where the Goliath is heading, you'll want to be at least 50m in front of it to get ready.

2) Situate yourself somewhere along the path and place 4 to 5 motion mines behind an obstacle (But still allowing the mines a path out). Place the mines in such a way that the passing Goliath will not activate them, yet are close enough to be baited over.

3) Wait till the Goliath passes; have the pin for your MMB pulled and ready.

4) Once the exposed side of the Goliath is in front of you, throw the MMB towards the front tread.

5) Watch the destruction. :laugh:

The spike damage from the 5 mines is enough to destroy the Goliath. Most likely, you'll net between 1-3 destruction points for destroying some panels before the Goliath goes down. It's an easy 5-10 points!

i love using this trick, it's no secret

but personally, i prefer using the rorsch, i love the feeling of power taht that gun has :D

Just RDX a speeder and ram it into the rear of the Goliath hitting the button on your way out.

Maybe not if there are engi with MMB on it and know what to do .

You're not meant to be in the open. I specifically said to place the mines and you behind an obstacle from which the Goliath will not activate the mines or see you clearly.

The best places to do this are at:

Port Bavaria
- The top of the ramp from East Dock to Military Base.
- Behind the fencing at Living Quarters.

Bridge at Remagen
- Behind the walker husk south-west of the Square flag.

Liberation of Leipzig
- Behind the walls at the entrances to Grand Park.

Basically, any obstacle that allows you to hide behind it along with 5 Motion Mines and is close to a main road is enough to do this trick.
