Changeing textures

I wanted to change the textures on the billboards in 2142 so i found the files with the billboard dds files in opned them and changed the textures i then re loaded the moded files back in the the game and started 2142 found one of the billboards in single player and it is still the same :confused: no change at all why is this.

Did you delete the old zip file they were in and then replace it with new textures? The game looks for zip files before normal folders, try that :)
