As the title suggests, there are two bugs that really irritate me. The main one, is regarding an issue I have with the controls not saving when using my logitech rumblepad 2 game controller.
The second one, is related with how the 2142's technical support system, is completly usless, and therefore, broken.
And if you will take the time to read the following tech support transcript, I'm sure you will agree.

I'm having an issue with battlefield 2142 and my logitech rumblepad2 game pad.
I've been having this issue ever since the demo of the game came out, yet the problem does not exist within battlefield 2.
It seems as though battlefield 2142 does not save my controls when using the game pad.
The following are the controls that I use, and how they are affected:
What I try to save the controls as:
accellerate: Joy button 0
Decelerate: joy button 1
Steer left: -Joy axis 0
Steer Right: joy axis 0
Pitch FWD: -joy axis 1
Pitch Back:joy axis 1
Roll Right:joy button 5
Roll Left: joy button 4
Countermeasures: joy button 9
Fire: joy button 7
What remains after I close and open battlefield 2142:
accellerate: blank
Decelerate: Blank
Steer left: -Joy axis 0
Steer Right: joy axis 0
Pitch FWD: -joy axis 1
Pitch Back:joy axis 1
Roll Right: Blank
Roll Left: Blank
Countermeasures: joy button 9
Fire: joy button 7
As you can see, buttons 0,1,4, and 5 are not saved within 2142.
I have seen this reported before on forums, as well as within the northern strike beta, of which I was a part of. However, I have yet to see this resolved.
I have tried to resolve this issue by reinstalling windows on my machine, as well as using a different system board. However, the issue persists. As such, this is clearly a battlefield 2142 issue. I ask that you please look into this, as it is extreemly frustrating to myself, and I would imagine anyone else that owns a logitech rumblepad 2 usb game controller.
