I stumbled across this sexy theme for Windows Live/MSN messenger:

You will need to install the version of Live Messenger included in the .rar file for the skin to work, as the latest version of MSN won't work with it. Then slap the .dll file from the other .rar into your MSN install directory. :salute:

You don't have to have Vista for this theme to work though, I'm using it on XP.

Well that really depends. I use just about every OS there is at work, and the ones that give us the most headaches is Unix and Linux. Windows might not be as powerful, but it's dependable. Of course this is from an enterprise solution.

But then again, your average desktop home user doesn't give a **** about being able to be root. They just want their crap to work when they put the disk in. So each has their Pros and Cons.

Have you tried Trillian Astra? The default skin or Astra really grows on you and meshes well with Vista.
