Here I am again, guys, with an extra long episode of Concr3te's Squad Action. This one takes place on Belgrade, starts off with a good attack and capture of statue and lots of action around Ruin/Com Tower/Playground.
Enjoy:

I don't understand why squad leaders use Support. Not a good idea. Use a Voss or Baur or Krylov. If all of your squad goes down you can revive perserving tickets. You shouldn't rely on your squad to spawn on you or revive you. But if you have a good squad it doesnt matter what gun you use.
Just my opinion but why use support?
Edit - I noticed you used a voss halfway through* But still why support?

There are various reasons;
- the most important is that a Squad Leader shouldn't be in the front of the battle killing everyone but he should stay back, give orders, spotting enemys and be a mobile spawnpoint (as beatifully shown at the begin of the video)
-second, altough I don't use it, some SL's prefer to take the Otus drone with them and because it explodes so easily they can resupply themselves.
Oh and the Ganz is just a nice gun ;)
And for the reviving, you can always pick someone's kit up right? - That's why I got all those different weapons in the video, we were constanly swapping kits to revive and stuff.

Alright answer me this. If you get hurt and your squad members are far out in front of you and not able to spawn on you cause you die and they dont take the flag they were going for. What happens then. I would rather heal myself then resupply. You can hit long/short range with rockets and the baur/voss.
Just my opinion and your accuracy will go up as well. Although most pubbers care for points.
EDIT - Picking up others kits can be time consuming and a waste of time.

:shakehead: Nope, because you are not supposed to have squad members all in front of you, you will need to stay back but not two flags back! Just at the back of the squad, that way you will (hopefully) have some medics covering your back, but hey, don't misunderstand me, I use the Voss and Krylov all the time. It just depends on what mood I am in, if you check my first video you'll see I use the Voss. And in the second I use the Krylov.
And I totally disagree with the kit changing, I use it all the time without probs

... Your post makes absolutely no sense to me. If you die, it doesn't matter what kit you are; you can't revive yourself. I can understand using the medkit to heal yourself to make yourself survive longer, but the point of having a squad is so that they can cover for you. And what about those one-hit deaths like a frag grenade or an APM? There really is no benefit to being medic yourself.
Additionally, if you are the medic for your squad (although there are normally 2), then if you die, how would anyone revive you? And obviously you can't even spawn on yourself at that point. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to be your own medic. If a squad member is a medic and dies, at the very least, they can just spawn on you again when you pull back.
Using "accuracy" as an argument for choosing assault over support for being a squad leader is an inane argument... What does it matter what your accuracy is if being support is much more useful to your squad? Accuracy is probably one of the least important of all your stats to worry about (as long as, of course, the accuracy isn't so bad that you can't hit anything).
With support, you can 1) resupply your squad leader equipment, 2) stay behind and provide suppressive fire, 3) provide detection support (IDS or Pulse Meter), 4) be a support for a squad that needs one anyways... #3 is one of the reasons you need to stay back because you are very vulnerable when scanning.

I can admit the otus drone and other pretty things in pubs might work. I will never use the "support" kit in a match type atmosphere though. But for pubs whatever works m8 ;)

Ahem, that's an insult to the TacticalGamer server :p So don't ever say that word again! And it's totally untrue that the Support kit doesn't work for Squad Leader. Come and play with me on the TG server and I will show you ;)

But I never understand why snipers are respected for teamwork, sure they cant repair/heal/ or supply... but they can see further than you, take out squadleaders in one shot (well me anways :D:D:D:D). They are very useful, flag defending? tell you recon dude to place RDX around the flag and you can actually lay off the flag and relax on the defence.
but m3h. :p

Lol. My standard message when the game starts and I host a squad is: "spawn whatever you like EXCEPT for sniper!" That's when I am playing with random pubbie squads, though. I do this because snipers tend to go lonewolfing all the time. I know there are some good snipers who can play as a squad out there but the risk for lonewolfing snipers is just huge.
One thing snipers ARE good at is taking commander assets out so I do ask someone to go sniper if we know we are going for the enemy base.
