Hey ho chaps!

Here's my first attempt at a frag/gameplay/generally screwing around movie,there's nothing 'uber leet' about the kills here but hopefully it's more of a nicely edited bit of fun,hope you guys enjoy it. Remember peeps it's my first time and it takes a little time for the old buffering to be done.

Just got to say you can't have your 7 minutes and 29 seconds back if you don't like it ;)

Those graphics are disgustingly good... especially when you're capping it as a video at that high of a resolution... What's your setup? I'm sooo jealous.

Btw, how did you capture some of those shots? I didn't know BattleRecorder could "follow" like that? (One particular scene where you show a close up of the soldier sitting in the cockpit).

Hey thanks lads,glad you enjoyed it,you're right Lyra it did take take a bit of time to do,originally it was going to be a few kills but I got a bit carried away and it just grew.

Ghiblian if you have the fixed camera on a soldier zoom out a bit then use the w,a,s,d keys and you can nudge the camera around him.It doesnt go too far but just enough to get those side on shots.

Also how did u get the battlerecorder to work?

I just played my battlerecorder files through The Sir. communitys Battledirector to get the shots I wanted then had fraps running in the background and recorded with that,Battledirector takes away all the tags so u have a clean image with no name tags.

You need to go on battlerecorder enabled servers to get them,or like for the daft stunt in the middle of the movie I enabled it on a local server (hit the console key and type.. demo.demorecord ...followed by a space and a name for your clip then hit return.To stop the recording hit console and type...demo.stoprecording.

Don't know about your weird colour scheme annihalator ,anybody else getting that ?.I'm also looking to put up a smaller file version so it streams a bit faster.

I gotta thank you lot again for the positive comments guys,it's much appreciated.
Just added a slightly lower quality version of the movie on filefront,it streams a helluva lot faster now.

That's excellent work right there. Certainly not one you want to skip over, as others have said it's much more than a normal frag video.
Enjoyable editing, and a graceful intro. Hopefully this will convince more people to pick up BattleDirector with their BF recorder files as quality does pay.

Damn it is a fine movie.
And I can only join Ghib in the comments on your evil vidsettings... Damn! If I had that good settings I would rule the game. Ok perhaps not, but it certainly feels like it is easier to spot people when they aren't little blobs in the sights.

But how did you get yourself back in the helidine after you hopped out and were sky diving? 0_o I've tried soooo many times and just die when i get near it (regardless of holding E) - is there some trick like entering from the undercarriage of the talon? Can only be done with a Talon?

Believe me JAV there was no trick involved,it took a couple of attempts to get it right,it seems like hitting the under carriage of the gunship works well when you're above it,trying from the side or below lessens your chance of getting back into it..but it can be done,just gotta them fingers working and avoid bashing your head against it lol.

I've seen vids of guys doing it at really low altitudes (80ft or so),now that's special!

The end credit bloopers show me mucking that stunt right up,but if I can do it (after a few crashes!) so can you matey.

Yeah, it's tough (died many times) and even fluked one at around 70ft (tapped the ground as I recovered 0_o)

Edit: Oh I see,you mean easy kills on merlins cat funhouse servers,lol.I did play on there at the begining because they were one of the few servers I could find with battlerecorder set up correctly,got some nice smooth footage from merlins,I'd recommend it.
