Why would you want upgraded med hub, since it's a passive unlock, it doesn't take up an item slot and the healing power bar recharges much faster, allowing you to drop boxes faster.

And please don't revive when there's an enemy still shooting at you, you're just giving the enemy more kills.

the other day i actually noticed i only had the silver medic badge. never noticed i never recieved the gold. only took the first round i attempted to get it. it wasn't that difficult. i joined a full camp g server (64) and ran around with almost nothing but my med hub out. wasn't in a squad as i found i had to heal everyone.

each revive saves your team a ticket in conquest. always worth the risk of them being killed again. of course, always try and kill the one who killed them.... but always revive. i agree with that.

good post. a solid medic can rack up the points and more importantly, do their part to win the round.

a good medic can keep your front line alive and pushing... a good support can keep them firing away.

The ultimate crap medic guide...

Do not sacrifice yourself yourself to save others... Most of the time, if you do this, they're just gonna get killed too, and nothing is more annoying than some f**wit n00b medic reviving you 3 seconds before you respawn, so you can get killed again making you wait another 15 seconds.

If youre a medic, kill first, then revive...

Also, dont take smoke grenades... waste of a slot! You should always have a defib, and the rockets are ridiculously useful... if you dont use rockets, at least a shotgun for when youre out of bullets.

why do n00bs like writing these stupid "how to be a n00b guides"?

An admin should change the title of this thread to "A guide to play assault and lose, every time."

This isn't a bad guide, but I would say the load out should never change, assuming you have all the unlocks your load out should be:

Voss brilliant close range weapon (I know people are going to start going on about voss noobs now but it is what it is)

Rockets for taking out targets at a distance / behind cover

Defib well duh

The advice given about a squad taken out by a good sniper is a little wrong. As a sniper if I see a medic rush into revive I'll let him, wait... wait... they think I've moved on then Bam take them out again medic first obviously.

I think you forgot the best overall kit that almost every Assault/Medic is wearing on the Battlefield.

Kit contains:

Baur or Voss

Defib

Rocket attachment

Upgraded Medic Hub

Really, see for yourself. If you pick up a kit from a decently ranked soldier you can see the above in his/her kit!

If you cant take criticism to your guide then whats the point in you even being here? This is a forum....

Well, everyone harshed him right off the bat. Some folks aren't in the same place in life and have different coping skills.

I can understand just saying, "We'll I was trying to help but since you obviously don't appreciate my attempt, I'll just delete my post."

Let's try a little respect, people.

He's 15. Boys get touchy about how they're precieved among peers and other men. And in turn, other boys like to tease and bully, who they think they can pick on and get away with it. Bad social order, but that's boyhood (and girlhood as well).

@ Fire - take an art class and learn to take critiques there. It can be brutal (artists are nitpickers), but you'll learn eventually to not take it personally.

i resent that, beng young doesn't make you a know-nothing anti-social idiot

i'm 16, my views are just a valid as anyones

anyone can be an asshat, nevermind their age

on topic: firestorm, you had some good ideas and some bad, its admirable that you tried to present them. Don't be so touchy, you would be more respected by the community if you got some real conversation going, rather than just deleting your post in spite. I'm sorry if i just reiterated some of the last posts, i didn't read them all fully

When you get older you wouldn't even care to be concerned -- as you'll learn the confidence and value comes from within, not from peers, status or materials.

you know what you're right, as soon as you reach adulthood you become enlightened and we youngsters become selfish, attention seeking fool:rolleyes:

(yes i know that wasn't a very mature response)

i don't care about what people think of me (lol how cliche does that sound), much less people on a forum, but i just find it annoying that i can be tarred with the same brush as any young person who acts anti-socially

His ePeen is not fully developed, so he must retreat to the nether regions of his closed, imaginary world. I fear for this new generation, as the term "backbone" has no place.

I see he said ultimate medic guide and not assault.

Maybe it was a good medic oriented guide.

Too bad I could not see what was posted.

It doesn't become much of a problem when you're older, as you've long learned success/image isn't some ePeen on some public forum. Nor at that stage is the person angry of not being accepted as an adult (with the cries of, "LQQK @ ME M8 IM MaTuRe!"). They're not accepted as an adult when they pepper their retorts with the below, for instance...

(yes i know that wasn't a very mature response)

One thing of saying you know what maturity is and when to be mature (many a 15 year-old claims it -- every teenager goes through that stage), but it's another to know and behave so. It's like the rebellion a kid has about, "I'M NEVER GOING TO BE LIKE MY PARENTS!!", but as soon as they have a family of their own, they realize how much they are a splitting image.

TIP: You can never run away from yourself or your past.

But keep on rebelling! ;)

Its kind of naive to suggest that adults don't become insecure, even abotut there maturity.

Can i ask a personal question as to how old you are? because if you're 18-21 (which, forgive me, is a likely age to be playing games like these) then you're saying that those mere couple of years is the difference between understanding the difference betweenthinking you're mature and actually being mature? Because it seems to me that at the ages of 18-23 (or even longer) is when many people do the most foolish and immature things in their lives (drugs and whatnot). However if you're older than that, i retract my statement and tbh you probably have a right to talk down to me such as you are.

All I am trying to get accross is that young people can be mature when it matters, and older people can be immature.

Not everyones the same.

I never said that, BUT, adults have something that helps them to overcome insecurity, and that's life experience.

I don't call myself "grandma" here if I was 21 or even 31, AF. Let's just give you a hint: back in 1981 I was a Woman Marine.

Do the math.

That's true, but understand older folks have heard teenagers say this countless times, when it fact they were irresponsible.

I was once a teenager myself, as our parents, and we all know the thinking that goes with that age. ;)

This part of the discussion actually made this thread a little interesting! :D

There are mature kids, and immature grown-ups. But the mature kids are still kids. But, by getting off to a good start young, IMO, they have a shot at growing up into exceptional adults.

As smart and mature as I was (LOL), as much as I appreciated my Dad, I didn't *get* it until I caught my son in my hands, waited that frightening fraction of a second for him to gather his tiny little wits enough to start yelling about the mighty upheavals in his formerly pleasent existence... :D

Fact is, life experience, if you do it right, will continue to bring those kinds of moments every day of your life.

Cheers,

- JP

I am a teenager, I act mature and I cant see why ppl have a problem with us. It doesnt matter of a persons age its what they act like. If one teenager annoys you dont automatically assume all of us are immature idiots!!

I was a Woman Marine.

Screenshot or you're not a girl!

=P

Oh and also,

to the folks who say "Age doesnt matter, idiots of all ages"

Just remember that your brain doesn't finish developing untill you are about 20.

Oh, and the amount of "adults" who act immature is such a small portion compared to the amount of teens or pre-teens who act 'not adult like'. And that's just a fact of life - people increase in maturity, knoweldge and life experience as they get older.

You have 2 different extremes of a person:

The teen/preteen who is struggling with school, fitting in, peer pressure, what they want to do in life, puberty, experimenting and trying out things etc

And the adult who is (for the most part and most commonly) a well rounded person.

So you can't take a very early age and compared it to someone who is older because there are many many physical, mental, psychological, physiological, culture, lifestyle etc differences to warrant putting the two groups into the same catagory.

thats funny, as i recall, most of the people who start wars and send countless millions off to die are, you guessed it, adults (:hmm:a hit below the belt i know...) but does that mean ALL adults are bad? no. So a couple of teens go off and smoke out. Does that mean all teens are immature and bad? Apparently so...

Saying that teens are bad and adults are good is like saying Rocky road is the greatest ice cream ever: Maybe in your world but not in mine.;)

it's not rocket science, all you do is heal revive + kill people.
